White It out Like Glittering Wax Butterflies

I'm Not Going To Look Back!

"OW! QUINN! I think it's in my eyes!"

"Hold on! We've just got to rinse it out."

I turned on the bathtub faucet and put my head underneath it, washing the dye down the drain.

I grabbed the nearest towel and started drying my hair.

"Wow," Quinn said. "you're really blonde." He held up a piece of my hair.

"I'm glad I only did the top layer." I looked around for a blow dryer. "It'd be less amazing if all of it was blonde."

"Hey!" Quinn made a pouty face. "That was mean."

"Your hair is an exception," I smiled.

I looked down at the bathroom sink and noticed... black eye shadow?

"Uh, Quinn?" I held it up. "Whose is this?"

"Oh... That's Bert's."

"Bert has makeup?"

"Yeah... He likes it, I guess..." he shrugged.

"Oh..." I looked down at it. "Do you think he'll mind if I use some?"

"Probably not."

"Sweet." I flipped open the container and started applying some. Ah yes... My love... Black eye shadow...

"That looks really nice on you," Quinn said.

I shut the container. "Thanks."

Now, just to find a damn hair dryer. Or even a hair straightener...

"You looking for this?" Quinn held up a hair straightener.

"In fact I am." I reached for it, but then Quinn pulled it away.

"Hey, what gives?" I reached for it again.

"Do you what this?" Quinn held it up a bit higher.

"Yes, I do."

"Then you have to answer a question for me."

"And that would be...?"

"Will you go on a date with me?"
