Jesse is a baseball player at his high school. He's a Christian boy who loves his parents and listens to them. He believes in love at first sight and love in different ways. He doesn't discriminate, not even against the boy who he first meets after a fight that breaks out in the lunch room.

After being treated by his crush's mother and having his deepest secret discovered, Cameron is taken in by Jesse's family, where his love for Jesse grows, and Jesse discovers feelings he'd never known were dormant within him.
