Prologue
There were three things Genevieve Lewis hated. Two of them were being called Jenny and New Year’s Eve.
At one point in time she had loved both of these but that all changed. One person changed all of that.
She’d loved when he called her Jenny. It was his special nickname for her.
She’d also loved New Year’s Eve; it had been her favorite holiday. Genevieve loved all the possibilities that it held. It gave people the chance to look back on what they’d accomplished the past year and make new goals for the upcoming year.
Two of the things Genevieve had once loved were changed to things that she now loathed. The third thing she hated was the person who was to blame for these changes.
John O’Callaghan changed Genevieve Lewis, and she hated him for it.
