The Kids Are Alright
I'm A Loser.
I walked into the party, my hair up all neatly and in a tight bun. I was wearing dress I bought a few days ago. Surprisingly, the person who greeted me at the door, was Mick Jagger. I was a little shocked, but I mean, he was a nice guy.
Or so I thought. He always gave me the creeps when I saw him.
Looking around for Roger, I bumped into Pete. He looked a little drunk, and he looked somewhat sad. Patting his back, I asked him where Roger was.
"I think he's at the table waiting for you. You guys are supposed to make a toast and announce your engagement to everyone here." He slurred slowly, smirking at me.
"What?!
He pushed me towards the table that Roger was sitting at. I smiled at my fiancé. It was nice knowing I had someone to love for the rest of my life.
But...
There was something about him...I felt like he was cheating on me. I don't know why. I just see how Ramona is and how gorgeous she looks. She's so young and refreshing.
I just felt like Roger didn't want me.
That I wasn't pretty enough...
