My Arranged Marriage to Alex Gaskarth

Eden opened the door of her and Alex’s home, whilst walking in she couldn’t help but feel plagued by what happened at her café,
“What is the history between Mina and John?” She grumbled under her breath, disliking the fact that she was not in the loop of these occurrences.

“Hello my gorgeous wife” Eden heard Alex and felt him gently kissing her on her neck as he stood behind her.
“Why hello my handsome husband” She said with a grin as she turned around facing him, she threw her arms around his neck. Alex smiled down at her and laid a gentle kiss on her soft lips, he grinned when she tightened her hold on him.
“I’m proud of you Mrs. Gaskarth” Alex mumbled while he buried his face in her neck.
“For what?” Eden asked bewildered,
“For accomplishing your dream” He mumbled which made her smile.

“Mhm, umm Alex…” Eden said as she bit her lip,
“Yea?” Alex asked raising a questioning brow.
“What’s the deal with Mina and John?” Eden asked and saw the change on Alex’s face.
“Eden…” Alex sighed,
“It’s complicated really…”

“Oh…” Eden mumbled and removed her arms around him; she turned to around heading towards the staircase.
“Wait…babe, I want to tell you I do…it’s just I’m not sure how to explain it” Alex grabbed her hand as she reached the top of the staircase.
“It’s fine Lex” She shrugged and got ready to go to bed.

When Eden slide under her covers, Alex wasted no time in pulling her close to him, she closed her eyes trying to sleep. 2 Hours went by and Eden was restless, she really couldn’t stop making up scenarios of what could’ve happened between Mina and John, she had a really bad case of the curiosity bug and she hated not knowing, it was one of her biggest flaws.

“Eden…what’s wrong?” Alex groaned sleepily as she yet again turned for the billionth time,
“I’m just restless…maybe I should sleep on the couch downstairs” She mumbled and made to slip out of the bed but Alex quickly pulled her back to his chest.
“No don’t go, what’s wrong?” Alex asked suddenly wide awake, Eden sighed.
“I can’t stop thinking…that’s all”
“About…Mina and John, right?” Alex looked down at her knowingly making Eden blush.
“I…ugh, I’ll go sleep on the couch” She stuttered,
“No you’re not” Alex tightened his hold on her,

“Alright I’ll tell you” Alex sighed,
“No, you don’t have to Alex…” Eden said quickly feeling awful.
“It’s okay Eden, you would’ve eventually found out anyway” He shrugged, Eden eagerly sat up to face him, he chuckled.
“It all started when Zack and Mina didn’t get along, there was this party and a couple of bands got together to well…you know party. Mina saw John who had currently found that his long term girlfriend was repeatedly cheating on him, so needless to say John was an emotional wreck. Mina being well…Mina, sat next to him and tried to strike up a conversation, which at the time was very unlike her but she said she saw the pain in his eyes and knew he needed someone.” Alex stopped for a moment; Eden couldn’t help but smile, precious Mina…always the wonderful angel.

“So even though John was slightly rude, Mina told him she has no intentions of flirting with him nor had the compulsion in sleeping with him so he could stop acting like a jerk, she convinced him that all she saw was that he could use a friend. Surprisingly John smiled at her and agreed, because well…it’s hard being annoyed with Mina. Anyways by the end of the night they were officially close friends, from that night on they were almost attached to the hip. We, at the time didn’t know that Zack or Mina had feelings for each other and we saw John and her as the next couple, but it wasn’t like that…at least not for Mina.” Alex breathed out and Eden frowned,
“But it was for John…?” Eden questioned and a grim look appeared on Alex’s face.

“John fell for her during their close friendship, Mina never led him on it was just John who couldn’t help but fall for her. Something bad was happening to Mina at the time and no one knew about it, Zack fell hard for Mina and he kept it inside because he was certain she loved John. Mina on the other hand loved Zack and John well he knew Zack had a thing for her but he didn’t care. Zack found out about that bad thing that was happening to Mina and whilst Zack found out, feelings came out in the open, Mina and Zack um…Zack’s family…um weren’t all too happy about Mina so it made it hard for them to even think about being together, but eventually they got together.

Mina went to John and told him that she was in love with Zack and he kind of broke out and kissed her, she pulled away from him looking mortified and John knew from the look in her eyes she didn’t return his feelings. Mina didn’t know what to do so she ran home, the next day she went to look for John and he was gone, he never even said goodbye and I know for a fact that losing her best friend was one of the hardest thing she went through but Zack was always with her, Mina never saw John until today...which is why she felt the way she did. Zack…I think Zack wonders that if John didn’t leave when he did, he wonders if Mina would’ve left him to go with John...” Alex let out a loud sigh and looked at Eden whose jaw had dropped down.

“That’s absurd! Mina loves Zack!” Eden exclaimed,
“I know…but a guy in love sometimes can’t help but feel insecure” Alex smiled sadly.
“Poor them…oh poor Mina, Zack and John, it’s all so messed up” Eden said sadly as she laid her head on Alex’s chest.
“It is…” Alex mumbled.
