Jensen let out a sigh, holding out a hand to Jeremiya.
"Sorry...still a little edgy from that ass...."
Jeremiya just smiled at him.
"What?" Jensen asked.
"I just think this is interesting...that's all..." Jeremiya said.
"Okay...WHAT?" Jensen asked, a little laugh creeping into his question.
"I don't even know your name..." Jeremiya said.
"Jensen..."
"Jeremiya..."
"Better?" Jensen asked, easing up in his tone.
Jeremiya nodded, smiling.
Jensen just smiled back.
"So...where you off to?" Jeremiya asked.
"Me?....*groan*....math....>.<" Jensen shuddered at the very WORD.
"Really? What teacher?" Jeremiya asked, a little hopeful.
"Knisher..."
"ME TOO!" Jeremiya said, causing Jensen to jump back a bit.
The two boys just chatted on the way to their lockers, to class, and even to lunch when they met up again in the courtyard.
"JER!" Jensen waved Jeremiya over.
As he sat down, he asked about the new nickname he'd been given.
"What? I thought it was nice..." Jensen said, messing with his pinky ring.
"It's okay, Jen." Jeremiya smiled.
The two boys just giggled.
It was pure innocence...yet was the start of a cute friendship.
