Crazy Girl

Two

"What a dick."

"I know."

"Want me to kill him?"

"Allison. Realistically, if you killed him, not only would you go to jail, but the city of Pittsburgh would most likely give you the death penalty. Do you want to die by lethal injection?"

She smiled at me. "No, not really. Plus, he's too hot and talented to kill. Sorry Ell, I guess this is where the line is drawn for things I would do for you. If it's any consolation, I would kill any ugly person for you!"

I laughed and continued to wash down the table covered with disgusting nacho crumbs and spilled beer. What a life.

"I hate working here," I grumbled. She laughed.

"What was that?" my boss' voice called out from his office. I stifled a laugh.

"I said, 'how am I lucky enough to work here?'" I lied. He laughed.

"Sure, sure. Just keep wiping those tables, girls. We open in 15 minutes."

Alli and I got back to work on the tables, the conversation now over.

"Hey, Sid, you coming out to lunch with us?" Marc-Andre Fleury sounded hopeful, and Sidney felt bad denying him. He sighed.

"Sure. Yeah, okay."

The beam that met his affirmation did little to make him feel better about lunch. He didn't want to go spend time with his team mates. He felt so far away from them, both on a hockey and personal level. Sitting around eating and making small talk sounded like the one thing he really didn't want to do.

"Fantastique!"

The place decided upon for lunch was a quaint little restaurant in Shadyside. From the outside, it looked normal and small, but the inside was cozy and warm and noisy, in a nice sort of way. Sidney decided he liked it. A young girl with curly blonde hair seated them.

"Hello boys, my name is Allison and I'll be serving you today," she said pleasantly, her voice ringing with a slight southern twinge. Sidney saw Jordan grin in a slightly creepy way.

"Well, hello Allison," he said slyly. She wrinkled her nose, shaking her head and walking away, but not before glancing at Sidney and trying to hide a smirk. He figured it was another fan girl and didn't think anything of it.

The guys started talking and Sidney tried his best to listen, but, of course, it was all about hockey and he just really, really didn’t want to think about hockey right now. He found himself looking around the little restaurant. He caught sight of a girl who looked familiar... in fact, she looked kind of like...

Oh my god, it was crazy girl!

Sidney's eyes widened, before he quickly tried to refocus in on the conversation at the table. He was obviously going crazy himself if he thought he had seen crazy girl. It's not like she was following him ar- oh shit. Shit. She was crazy girl, of course she would be stalking him. He glanced over again and saw she was walking towards his table. He tried his best to discreetly slump in his seat and position himself to be hidden by Jordan's bulky body. But, of course, this attracted the attention of his teammates.

"Uhh, Sid, what are you doing?"

"Nothing, Flower. Don't worry about it," he half whispered. Jordan snorted.

"Dude. You look like a loser."

"Hi, I'm sorry, Allison is bit backed up on orders, so I'm going to take-" crazy girl started to say, but then she caught sight of him and she scowled. His wide eyes met hers. Hers looked annoyed.

"You're here to take what? Sid's virginity?" Jordan filled in for her. Sidney didn't appreciate the joke. She didn't seem to either.

"You're on, girl," Alli said with a sneaky smile. I gave her a confused look. She laughed. "Go take table 15 over there, I've got too much on my plate at the moment."

I just shrugged and grabbed my notepad, pasting on my best smile and walking over to the table where 3 men were seated.

"Hi, I'm sorry, Allison is bit backed up on orders, so I'm going to take-" my voice cut off when I saw him. Hockey's stupid golden boy. I glared at him.

"You're here to take what? Sid's virginity?" Jordan Staal laughed, like it was the most hilarious thing in the world. I wrinkled my nose.

"Sorry about that. Well, what'll it be, boys?" I asked sharply, avoiding Sidney’s eyes. They ordered and, with a creepy wink from Staal, I left the table. I slammed my hands down on the podium in front of Alli.

"What the hell, Allison," I sneered. She looked up with a smirk.

"What are you going on about now, Elliot?" she said innocently, still penciling in reservations. I practically growled.

"Like 2 hours ago you were about to kill Sidney Crosby for me, now you're torturing me with his presence!"

"Oh, grow up, Elliot. Like I told you, I simply was too busy to take on their table," she said, before walking up to the family that walked in, smiling easily. "Right this way."

Ugh. She is so annoying.

I glanced over at the table of hockey players and glared. Stupid Sidney Crosby. Stupid Allison. I walked towards the kitchen and saw the cook, Henry, giving me a smile.

"Order up, Elliot! Table 15," he called out. I groaned.

Great...
