The Amy Chronicles

The weekend came and went. On Monday Amy still couldn't believe that her new crush's father was a rock star. Later that day Amy had her first soccer game at her new school. Amy was a great player. During the game someone said "Hey, and I thought I was the only person in band who played soccer."
Amy turned around. She saw a girl her age on the field. After the game Amy walked up to the girl.
"I'm Rebecca," she said," You must be Amy."
"How do you know my name?" Amy asked shyly.
"We're in band together," Rebecca said.
The next day at lunch, Amy ran into Rebecca again. They sat next to each other and became fast friends. Rebecca told that she was bullied as well. Rebecca also played the trumpet. She also didn't understand guys. Amy told about her bullying experiences and about the time she became a sax soloist. Both girls discovered that they had similar experiences.
After school that they Amy wondered if she should tell Rebecca about Joey. This was the first time she had a friend and a crush. She didn't know how confusing this was.
