Midas Is King

Horror.
Violence.
Confusion.
War.

In the midst of peace even the gods cannot control the brute strength and force that is Ares.

Of all the men to fall in love with, Ares proved the most hazardous to my health.
It shouldn’t have ended like this. I was set to be married, but, as is normally the case, the Fates stepped in. The Fates, I never held much faith in them; if I can’t see it or touch it then it’s not real to me. However the more I fought against them the more they struggled to push me onto my path and my destiny. Well, looking back, I guess it wasn’t to be a happy marriage, who can judge what is happy anymore? Who even said that I wanted to be married anyways? But it was still a marriage, I made a promise.
