After a few days with the guys at the studio, Zacky was starting to act like himself again and it really made me happy. No one had mentioned Gena since and this was the way I liked it. Seeing him so happy again made me feel so much better and I could go out and do things without being so worried about him. For the record, I hadn't seen or heard from Alex since the confrontation at the mall, which also made me kinda relieved. Although I do feel like that isn't the last I'll be seeing of him and that makes me a little uneasy to be anywhere by myself. With Ashley still in town though I don't need to go anywhere myself, we go everywhere together and it's like she never moved in the first place. Sad thing is that she's only here for another week and then she has to go back to New York for a really important photoshoot for a fashion designer.

Brian, being the ladies man that he is, asked my sister out on a date and they're going out all day today. The rest of the guys are at the studio, so that leaves me. Flying solo today. I'd spent the past week at the studio with the guys and not that I don't love going and hearing them play new stuff, but I'm kinda bored of it right now and just want a day out somewhere, but that means having to go myself. I finally decided that I'd go to the mall again and try and actually buy something this time. I'm a total window shopper, I refuse to buy things if they're over a certain price. But I guess when you live in California, pretty much everything that you like and want to buy has gotta be at least a month's wages down the drain on one thing.

I'd spent most of the day shopping, and even though I was on my own, it was kinda relaxing. I mean, yeah I had no one to chat with, but I didn't really mind all that much. After a couple of hours, I decided to head over to the nearest Starbucks and relax for a little bit. Although just as I sat down, I knew there would be no relaxing involved anymore,

"Told you I'd see you again, dollface,"

"Get the hell away from me you scumbag, I made it perfectly clear that I never wanted to see you again, didn't I?" I scowled and he chuckled, sitting down next to me,

"You and I both know you didn't mean that, buttercup,"

"Trust me, I fucking meant it!"

"Now, now, calm down," He said, "I only want to catch up on all the years we missed out on," He smirked and shook my head,

"Alex, I'll tell you this one more time and once more only," I started, "Stay the hell away from me you rat bastard." I said clearly and he scoffed but just as he was about to say something, a voice interrupted him,

"Get the hell away from her you cheating asshole!" I heard a voice yelling from behind me, I turned around and my eyes widened when I saw Zacky and Brian storming over towards us,

"And what if I don't? What are you, her boyfriend or something?" Alex laughed and Zacky got up in his face,

"As a matter of fact, I am her boyfriend and if you don't get the hell outta here right now, I'm going to knock your teeth down your throat, your choice." He warned him and Alex backed off and walked off in the other direction. Zacky turned to me and hugged me instantly,

"Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded,

"How did you know I was here? Or how Alex was here?" I asked,

"Brian called me, he said he walked in here with Ashley and saw that little douchebag wandering around and I knew you said you were coming here today so we came to make sure he wasn't annoying you, looks like we got here just in time," He said and I smiled,

"Thank you guys, it means a lot."

"Don't thank us, it's our job to look out for you," Brian told me and I gave him a hug before he and Ashley went off in the opposite direction to continue their little date they have going on, leaving just me and Zacky.

We didn't say much, but Zacky gave me a ride back to my appartment. The ride there was silent and normally the silence doesn't bother me, but this one did. It wasn't right. It was awkward and I think I know why. He told Alex he was my boyfriend and now we're both wondering what the hell it meant. I know that I'm wondering if he just said it to get Alex to back off or if he wants to be my boyfriend. Although I doubt that, considering what's happened with Gena and stuff. Yeah, he probably only said it to get rid of Alex. We stopped outside my appartment complex and he got out to walk me up to my door. Yay, even more awkward silence.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" He asked suddenly when we reached my door,

"Uh yeah, what's up Zack?"

"Are you doing anything later tonight?" He asked,

"Nope,"

"Well, I, um, was just wondering if you'd maybe want to go out for dinner?" He asked and I smiled,

"I'd love that, Zack," He smiled back at me,

"Great, I'll come back and pick you up at seven?"

"Seven sounds good, can't wait." I told him,

"I'll see you then," He said before leaning in and placing a gentle kiss on my cheek. He turned and walked away and I mentally kicked myself for blushing like a total highschooler. When I got into my appartment, the first thing I done was call Ashley. I needed her to help me pick out an outfit for tonight. Normally I wouldn't freak out so much over this, but I've liked Zacky for years and tonight is the night that something might actually happen between us and I don't want to screw that up.
