Hypnotized

Nine.

There was a sudden knock on the door to the girls hotel room the next day, early in the morning. When Charlie had gone to answer it, she saw a beautiful bouquet of roses was sitting right outside the door with a small card attached. Cellophane wrapped over the stems, tied in place with a white ribbon.

Dear Charlie, just thought I'd send my love something special. Hope you're having fun on tour. -Ry.

Charlie giggled, looking at the flowers and taking a whiff of them. She was about to shut the door, when someone else had pushed it open.

"Hey!" she furrowed her brows, without looking at the person. She felt a tap on her shoulder, and whipped around to see Ryan. "Ryan! Oh my gosh!"

"Hey babe!" he said picking her up and giving her a kiss on the lips. "How's it going?"

"Great! Especially now that you're here!" she giggled and tugged on his hand and pulled him inside their room. Lexi walked by.

"Oh, hey Ryan," she mumbled. Her eyes widened then she looked up. "Ryan?!"

Ryan chuckled with a smile and went over to hug her.

"Hey, Lexi." he greeted her.

"What are you doing here?" she asked him curiously, and frankly a bit confused.

"Just came to visit my girl, I asked my manager for a bit of time off work." he explained. Lexi just nodded a bit and walked off. Ryan turned to Charlie. "Where are the others?"

"Erm, hanging out in One Direction's room with them, I believe." she told him. He nodded.

"Right, the boy band." he sighed. Charlie looked at him.

"Don't be mean. The boys are very nice! Come on! Do you want to formally meet them? And hey! You can come to our show tonight!"

Charlie knocked on the door to One Direction's room, pulling Ryan along. Zayn came to answer the door.

"Charlie! Hey, come in!" he grinned at her, he opened the door a bit more, revealing Ryan. "Oh, um, Ryan, right?"

Ryan nodded, and gave him a weak smile. "You're Zayn, correct?"

Zayn cleared his throat and nodded, letting them both in.

"Oh, Ryan, you're here..." Jesse smiled a bit at him. Ryan laughed uncomfortably, and scratched the back of his neck, nodding.

"Yup, came to visit Charlie!"

"Is that a hi-" Louis started.

"Do you mind if I use the bathroom?" Ryan asked Liam, cutting Niall off.

"Sure, by all means." Liam said, motioning to the bathroom. Ryan mumbled a small thanks before going in and shutting the door behind him.

Ryan looked at himself in the mirror. How was he going to tell her? It wasn't going to be easy, especially with those guys around. But hey, it wasn't anything he couldn't handle.

The girls hadn't minded Ryan before. He was Charlie's everything, the nice guy that she'd always wanted, and he treated her right. Not once had they seen Ryan do anything to hurt Charlie. But after seeing the way Charlie and Zayn had acted around each other, they weren't so sure who was best for her anymore.

But quite frankly, they were leaning more towards Zayn. Ryan was nice and all, but he and Charlie had nothing in common. Zayn sang, Charlie sang. Zayn is afraid of water, and Charlie had been. Zayn is shy, and Charlie is shy. It just made sense.

The only thing that connected Ryan and Charlie was that he made her come out of her shell a bit more, Charlie was always shy and Ryan always confident, when people at school didn't notice her, he did. They didn't like the same music, she was a musician, and he was a mechanic. She was shy, he was confident.

Lexi and Niall had become closer and closer since the tour started, it'd been about 3 weeks since they'd been on tour.

Lexi was absolutely infatuated with Niall, and Niall with Lexi. The only problem was they didn't know that. All they could keep thinking was, what if he/she doesn't feel the same way? What if I ruin our friendship?

"Hey, we should go to Nando's again. I'm really craving." Niall suggested. Lexi grinned.

"You know, it's like you can read my mind. You can always tell when I'm hungry."

"I love food so much, I have a hungry radar. I can automatically tell when someone around me is hungry." Niall winked. Lexi giggled. "Well, let's go then! We have to be at venue at 6, and it's 3 o'clock right now"

Lexi nodded, and they left.

They got in the cab, and were dropped off at the nearest Nando's to the hotel.

"Table for two?" the waiter asked, Niall nodded his head and the waiter grabbed menus, leading them to a table at the back of the restaurant and pulling out the chair for Lexi, she sat down, Niall following in suit.

"I'm so hungry, I could order the whole menu." she said, her eyes wide. Niall laughed.

"I'm pretty hungry, but not that hungry. Eat up though, my treat."

"Niall, it's okay, I'll pay for my own food." she blushed, leaning her head on her hand. Niall smiled looking at her.

"You're cute when you blush." Niall pointed out with a big grin on his face, making Lexi's face turn an even brighter red. The waiter came with their drinks, and they sat there in a bit of silence.

"So, what are you going to order?" Lexi asked him, trying to make things less awkward.

"Erm, I don't know yet. I try order something different every time I come." Niall confessed. Lexi nodded her head. "What about you?"

"It's a debate between the salad, and the chicken with crisps." she smiled at him.

"Definitely go with the chicken and crisps." Niall assured her.

"I think I just might do that!" she giggled, closing her menu and taking a sip of her drink.

Niall couldn't keep his eyes off her. The way brown hair fell perfectly, flowing from the top of her head, down to her shoulders. The way her beautiful blue grey eyes sparkled, her beautiful smile, and her soft lips, and the way she could stuff her face and not gain a pound, liking to eat just as much as he did. They were meant to be.

Of course, she would never feel the same way about him. How could a girl like that, so perfect and tremendous like a guy like him? So simple, and plain. Step it up, Niall, he thought to himself.

Mia sat in the girls room, after just taking a shower, she had styled her hair and done her make up, getting ready for the show a bit early with nothing to do. She sighed, and lay on the bed tiredly.

Upon hearing a knock on the door, she groaned and got up. She answered it, thinking it was one of the other girls, having forgotten their key, instead, it was Liam.

"Liam! Hi!" she grinned like a giddy school girl. Liam laughed. "Come in!"

"Hi Mia." he hugged her tightly. She almost exploded into screams. "I was wondering if you wanted to warm up with me, on a piano before the show! Lexi was telling me how good and serious you are about your music skills, I'd love to see them, and sing with you."

"I'd love to Liam, but as you know, we've got no piano." she replied with a faint blush.

"Actually, I asked the man at the front desk if we could use the piano in the dining room. He said he'd move it out in the hallway for us to use. So come on then, up you get! We haven't got time to waste!" he smiled, pulling her up. She giggled, getting up and following him downstairs.

When they got to the lobby, she skipped over to the piano, warming up her fingers by playing small tunes, then turned to Liam.

"Alright, I'm ready." she grinned.

Mia liked that Liam was just as serious about music as she was, it was her everything, and maybe in due time, he would be too.
