Wildflowers

Rescue me.

Josh showered and put on fresh clothes and as he came from his room back to the living room a smile instantly hit his lips at the sight of Greyson on the couch. Oh that girl.

"Hey you." He said sitting beside her and since his mum was no where in sight in leaned in and pecked her lips several times. He could never just kiss her once. It was impossible.

"Did you talk to your mum?" He asked softly and she nodded before leaning against him.

He hated when people pried into his personal issues so he didn't bother to ask anymore. If she wanted to tell him she would.

"My mum said you could live here if you want and you know that way you wouldn't have to pay for a place."

She shook her head no, "No. I can't do that."

"Why not? It just her here unless Elissa comes home from tour or my dad isn't working, but usually it's just her. She would enjoy the company." He said trying to guilt her into it otherwise she'd say no.

"Josh..."

"Please. Please for me do this. I love you and I don't want you to have to do this. I want us to be together." He said clasping her hands in his, his eyes hopeful, trying to stay positive.

"I can't do that." She whispered and he hung his head, "Why? Just tell me why? Would you rather marry that bloke and be miserable for a year?"

"It isn't just me I have to worry about. I mean, Kacy lives with me for free and she has no where to go if I did this."

He sighed, "I'm sure Dan or someone would take her in."

She groaned, "It's not that simple!"

He just stared at her watching her grow frustrated. He tried to not get angry with the girl because he knew it was difficult, but here he was trying to fix it and she wasn't even giving it a second thought.

"I'm trying to help you Greyson." He said and she knew he was getting a bit angry simply because he used her full name.

"I know. I know. I appreciate it, it's just...I don't know." she said with a sigh as she placed her face in her hands. She would have taken Josh's offer if it wasn't for Kacy, but she couldn't just leave the girl.

He sighed and pulled her to him, "I'm sorry ok? I just want this to be over and I hate not being able to fix everything for you." He whispered.

"I know." She mumbled into his shirt and he rubbed her back now feeling a bit gloom himself. He laid back on the couch taking her with him. She cuddled to him and he held her quietly, his mind reeling with what the future held. This was probably his punishment for leaving and never looking back. He placed kisses over her face as she closed her eyes. She just wanted it all to go away. She just wanted to finish school and be with Josh. Such simple things that seemed impossible.

"I love you." He whispered brushing her hair back, the final kiss landing on her lips, "And no matter what happens I'll be here waiting for you. I promise."

She clung to the boy and he sighed as his mom entered from the kitchen with tea. She gave him a sympathetic look and he tried to respond with his eyes which probably read the same way. He was hurt. Hurt because he loved her so much, hurt that her mom was such a bitch and most of all hurt because she was hurt. He buried his face into her hair and just held her to him. His mom knew how much the girl meant to him. It had been the same since he was little and if anything the feelings had just gotten worse.

He sang to her at a whisper until she fell asleep and his mom sat across the room watching him. It amused her to see Josh so caring. Not that she thought he wasn't, but the way he was with Greyson was completely different.

"She said no because of Kacy." He said softly and her mom nodded, "Well, what would happen when she got married and moved in with him?"

"Good point...I don't know. Although she doesn't want me to I'm going to see if Dan will let Kacy move in."

His mom nodded in agreement and he let out a sigh, "I don't know what else to do...I love her and I just want to convince her to runaway with me." He said with a small grin.

She chuckled, "Don't think that's possible."

"I know. Would be nice. Plus, we've been writing for the new record and there is talks of recording in the states and I don't know what to do. I can't leave her again."

"Take her and Kacy with you. Max fancies her anyways."

He sighed staring down at the sleeping girl. He hated how complicated life could be. Why couldn't they just go back to school and be oblivious to adult situations again? Back when things were simple and he could just be with her without hassle.

"I'll figure it out." He mumbled and his mom nodded before leaving the room. He couldn't be without her again and he knew that so he had to find a way for this to work.

He decided while she was sleeping to try and call Dan and convince him to let a girl move in that he barely liked. Dan didn't have a problem with Kacy he just said she tended to have a attitude, but that was why Josh liked her.

"Ellooo?" Dan said as Josh slipped out the back door for privacy.

"Hey mate. We need to talk."

"Bout?" Dan questioned and Josh paced the porch before he went into full detail again.

"...so I need you to possibly allow Kacy to move in for a while..." he finished and Dan groaned.

"Please. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't a big deal, plus it isn't forever. I can't let her marry someone she doesn't want to be with Dan." He added and Dan sighed, "I know..."

"So please. I'm begging you. Just for a while until the girls can figure something out."

"You fuckin' owe me." Dan grumbled knowing he'd give in. He himself liked Greyson too much to say no. He wanted to help her out and if anything he knew the Blaine thing would be a mistake.

"Mate I fink I love you." Josh said now feeling a bit of relief.

"Yeah, yeah." He grumbled as he looked around his apartment imaging that vile girl here everyday.

"I'll ask Kacy and figure out the deal. I'm sure I'll see you later." Josh said before hanging up and when he went back inside Grey was sitting up running her hands over her eyes.

"Small nap?" He asked wth a grin and she nodded, "Haven't been sleeping good because I'm stressed."

He sighed and pulled her into his lap, "I know."

He decided to talk to Kacy first because if she agreed there would be no excuse.

"Hey, I got some bad shit to do, you can stay if you want of course, or whatever." He whispered kissing her neck as he wrappd his arms around her.

"I'll go. I'm going to try and get some homework done."

"And then see me tonight?" He asked his lips grazing her cheek.

"I can't..." she mumbled and his eyes narrowed in confusion.

"Why?"

"Because, I am going to dinner with Blaine." She said painfully. She just wanted to kick and scream that she didn't want to go, but she knew that wasn't an option.

"Oh..." he grumbled knowing it wasn't her fault, but he still hated it, "Well, call me when he drops you off. You aren't staying with him are you? Look, I can handle dinner, but you better tell him to keep his fucking hands to himself."

"Josh. I got this. Stop worrying. Please. And yes, I'll all call you when he leaves."

He sighed, "This makes me so sick. I hate your mum and him. Can't I just have him killed?"

She couldn't help but smile, "No afraid not. Then you'd be in jail and it would be a lose, lose situation."

"Nah, we can have conjugal visits."

"Josh!"

He chuckled, "Go babe. I'll see you in a few hours."

She stepped back over to him and threw her arms around his neck and he smiled holding her to him.

"I only love you." She said into his shirt.

"I know and I only love you. Now go. Get that over with so I can have you back in my arms." He mumbled into her hair.

She quickly pecked his lips and left with a goodbye. She was dreading the next few hours more than anything. Well, probably not as much as Josh was. He texted Kacy asking her to meet him at the coffee shop and not to tell Grey which he could trust her not to do.

"What's this secretive meeting about? No we cannot have sex." Kacy said throwing herself into the chair across from him.

He chuckled and rolled his eyes, "I'll pass on that, but, look, I think I found a way for Grey to get out of this situation but it'll require some serious help from you."

"Go on..." she said leaning back as she rossed her arms.

"See, I told her she could move in with me, but she won't because she knows you have no where to go, but what if say, Dan offered you a room with him?" He asked timidly and the girl groaned.

"Please Kac, I know you realize how serious this shit is and I know you two don't always get along, but it's the only way. I can't let her marry Blaine. I just can't." He mumbled and she sighed as he continued, "Dan's the only one with space unless you and Max are now getting serious or something..."

She rolled her eyes causing him to laugh, "So I take that as a no."

She stared at the boy in debate. Well there really wasn't anything to debate on. he wanted to help Greyson.

"Fine...I will."

He smiled in relief, "Thank you. Seriously."

"Yeah, yeah, are we done? I have to meet Max."

"Righttt. Well go on. If you see Blaine and Grey out feel free to run his arse over!" He said and she laughed, "Oh I will."

He chuckled as he watched her leave. He felt more relieved than he had in a while. Greyson was free. Free to be his, to live without stress. He forced himself up and decided to head to Dan's while he waited for his love to get back.

"Heyyy Dannn." He said as his friend opened the door giving him a weird look.

"Are you on something?"

"No. I'm just happy mate and I love you." Josh said patting Dan's shoulder as he walked in.

"So I take it Kacy agreed?" Dan asked following him to the couch.

"Yep."

"Yep. She wants to shag me." Dan said with a smirk and Josh rolled his eyes, "Yeah if you were about 4 inches shorter, had dark hair and was severly hyperactive. Then yes. She would."

He rolled his eyes, "Well, I better get something out of this deal!"

"It's only for a few weeks mate. Settle down."

Dan grumbled under his breath and crossed his arms.

After several hours of video gaming Josh's phone went off due to a text telling him Greyson was home which made him instantly drop the controller. Dan to shoot him a questionable look.

"My woman is home. I've got to go."

"Have you got it in yet?" Dan asked and Josh blushed lightly.

"What? I'm just wondering!"

"None of your business..."

"Since when?! You saying that leads me to believe you have so, how was it?" Dan asked now just to get under Josh's skin.

Josh rolled his eyes, "Not telling you, mate."

"Oh so other girls weren't good enough not to tell?"

Josh groaned, "Look, it was good. The end."

"Just good? Really?" Dan asked with a raised eyebrow, "I mean, she's fit as hell and it was just good?"

"Oh my god! It was fucking amazing! Best sex I've ever had!" Josh said throwing his hands up and Dan smirked, "Yeah, I could tell without the yelling."

"You deserve Kacy as punishment." Josh mumbled leaving the apartment as Dan yelled who knows what at him. He of course couldn't help but laugh at his friend. If anything it was going to be entertaining for him to have them living together.

So a lot of you seem to want Greyson's mom/Blaine to get hit by a bus, I'm ashamed to now say that will not be happening...haha.
