The Simple Love Story

Matilda Patton, or known as Matt, was one tough girl. Her dad was in the army for 3 years and he was army strong. When Matilda's mother left them when she was 4, all she had was her dad, Roy and her uncle, Sam. Dad being army strong and her uncle being the once famous hockey player and now a hockey coach for the Heathcliff Bulldogs. Being in a house with both men made Mat enjoy hockey and the strong thinking of her father's morals. One day with a player short for the season, she convinced her uncle to let her take place and play. He was reluctant but agrees… and this is how she meets Bayley Kohner, the captain and goalie for the hockey team.
