We walked through the mall hand in hand and we came across a baby store and Alli begged me to go in there with her. I couldn’t deny the mother of my child.
“Look at all the stuff a baby needs” She said, becoming over whelmed just looking around. “We’ll be ok.” I assured her and gave her hand a little squeeze.
“Please babies are constantly growing out of clothes, and we have a car seat and a stroller but we still need diapers and bottles.” She listed.
“I’m sure we’ll be fine. We’re saving up for that other stuff aren’t we? Besides isn’t most of that stuff taken care of at a baby shower?” I told her.
“I don’t have any friends for a baby shower.” She said shyly. “I’m your friend.” I smiled and she kissed my cheek.
“Yes you are but I was talking about the girl friends.” she said. “Well we don’t need a baby shower. We’ll have a small party with Ronda and Joe and Stephan and our family…”
“Don’t you mean your family?” she asked. “Our family. They can help us with all we need for the baby. I promise everything will be fine, stop stressing. It’s not good for the baby.” I placed my hand on her stomach.
“Hi, my name is Cindy. How can I help you?” an employee walked up to us. “No were just looking.” I said.

“Well congratulations and let me know if you need anything.” She smiled and walked away. “Babe look.” Alli picked out a shirt to show me that said ‘Daddy’s little boy’.

“That would be nice but I don’t need a boy. I’ll love another girl in my life too.” I smiled. “Go put that back.” I told her. As she went to put the shirt put I heard someone calling Alli’s name.
“Alli, Alli, Alli.” Taylor walked up to her as she was putting the shirt back. “Leave me alone Taylor.” she told him.
“How long did it take for you to sleep with Séance? A week? A day?” he asked. “That’s none of your business.” she told him.
“The school whore is knocked up by the school bad boy. It’s everyone’s business.” He laughed. “Leave me, my boyfriend and my baby alone. I’m done with you pushing me around.” she said and I stormed over to them.

“Are you excited to see you baby?” the doctor asked. “Very.” Alli smiled.
“Is it ok for me to travel, this weekend we’re going to see Arthur dad’s side of the family and he insisted on driving.” She smiled at me being all over protective.
“Sure just no over exertion, just relax and keep stress down.” The doctor recommended.
“I’ll make sure of it.” I assured the doctor. “Well, your now entering your second trimester and you can breathe. One of the rocky points in pregnancy is over.” The doctor smiled.
“Can we know the sex of the baby soon?” she asked. “I can run an amniocentesis and get the results when you get back.” The doctor said.
“Sounds great.” I said.

How long is the drive?” Alli asked as I packed up the Audi Q7 SUV Hybrid.
“Just a few hours, enough time for you to get a good nap in.” I smiled. “I’m not tired.” She told me.
“Rest is good for pregnant women." I said. "I’m fine, I'm only 13 weeks." She cradled her stomach.
"You're still pregnant and the mother of my child will rest." I said. She kissed me and walked away.
“Over protective fool.” She mumbled and turned back to smile at me. I smiled back.

I decided to finally get off my ass and continue this story by myself, since my co author has contacted me in all this time. I'm gonna finish this story.
