This Is Just A Bad Dream

I woke up feeling amazing till my stomach did flips and I was running to the bathroom. After moment of emptying my stomach I stood up and wiped off my face and mouth

"Get rid of it" I heard from a voice next to me

I looked up at Rei and gave him an "are you stupid look". He rolled his eyes

"I have a reputation to keep up and if you are going around telling people it's my baby someone is going to believe you" He said angrily

I swung around and hit him in the throat and watched him fall to the ground gasping

"You listen here Markham you aren't the only one in this so quit thinking about yourself. You have a rep!" I shouted

He looked up at me scared and I heard everyone come into my room

“Are you fucking kidding me you don't have to go around for the next 8 months with a huge belly. You don't have to hear all the sly and slick comments I’m going to hear about being slutty already because I'm pregnant. You won't see the looks and judgments I'm going to from every person who comes in contact with me." I stopped to kick him in the shin as he was getting up

His mother gasped but Chad held her back

"You have some fucking nerve to come in here and ask me to get rid of a person. You can call me anything you want and say what you want but this is your child. This bump is person a creation of stupidity but I refuse to let it end everything I have worked for" I gasped

I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen and I clutched it. Resse ran to me

"Calm down hunny you will stress the baby. Just relax and breathe" she said softly

She rubbed my back and my belly. Rei was still frozen on the floor and so was everyone else

"Rei let's go" Chad said

He stood up quickly and rubbed his throat. Reese kissed my head and held me to her chest

"That's good. He needed to hear that from you" She said softly

I smiled and nodded. Victor came back in the room with a glass of water

"Here" He said sitting in front of me

I sipped the water and smiled at him. The pain went away slowly and I was worried about the baby

"You get ready and me and Vic will take you to the doctor to check you out" Reese said

I nodded as she helped me up. She left my room and Victor busted out laughing

"He said you karate chopped him in the throat" Victor said

I smiled and shook my head. He hugged me and laughed more

"Gah it's going to be fun living with you" He said

I laughed and pushed him off

"I'm going to go get ready" He said kissing my head

I nodded and went into my bathroom to get ready. After I took my shower I looked at myself in the mirror and poked at my abdomen it was firm and showed a little. I let my hair air dry and I took my pregnancy vitamins

"Hurry up preggo!" Victor yelled laughing

I giggled and ran to my closet. I put on some dark denim shorts, a loose white button up, my dad's ring, white flats, a necklace and my sunglasses. I left my room only to see Victor looking bored

"Come on" He said pulling my hand

I walked behind him and we passed Rei's room. He looked at Victor

"Where are you going?" He asked

Victors jaw flexed and he gripped my hand

"Ellie is worried about the baby so we are going to go check to see if it's alright" He said

Rei nodded and Victor dragged me down the stairs. Reese was waiting and smiled at me

"Let's go. I already called and told school them you both would be late" she said

We drove to the hospital chatting happily

"Ellie since you will be living with us and your mother kicked you out. Chad and I are going to get her to hand over her rights and we can take care of you" Resse said when we entered the hospital

I looked at her in shock and shook my head

"No Mrs. Markham you don't have to do that" I said

She shook her head at me and held her hand up

"Yes I do hunny we want to and Chad adores you already. This morning he was so happy and saying how glad he was someone was here to whip Rei in shape" she said smiling

I bit my lip and nodded. This made Victor jump and hug me tight

"Alright we can take you hunny" The nurse said

Resse and Victor came with me to the room and waited with me while they checked everything out. When they did the ultrasound Resse could barely keep still

"Baby looks ok. Mommy's blood pressure was a little bit high, try and keep calm if you're stressed the baby will be too" she said smiling at me

I nodded and looked at the screen. Looking at the small figure I froze again. How could something so small be so important and special already

"Alrighty.Come back if anything else worries you" The nurse said as I pulled on my shorts

We all left the doctors happily and Reese took us to school

"Bye babies. See you at home" she said sweetly

I smiled and walked towards the building. I felt and arm on my shoulder and I looked over at Victor

"I like you Ellie" he said smiling

I laughed

"Oh really? Why is that?" I asked

He pulled my sunglasses off and put them on

"Anyone who can make Rei shut up is all good in my book" He said smiling

We walked in the building just as second block started

"See you in lunch Ellie belly" He said kissing my head and running off

I laughed and went into AP English and guess who is in that class..The lovely Rei Markham. He scowled at me when he saw me and I smirked in reply

"Don't scowl so much your face might get stuck that way" I said earning laughs from my classmates

He sat back and didn't say a word. Class went on and when the bell rung I got up and was going to my locker when I felt someone pull me into a corner

"Listen good Elora. I'm sorry for making that comment towards you this morning but you are being ridiculous, I still have a appearance to obtain." Rei said

He stayed a good distance away just in case I would hit him. I smiled sweetly

"You can keep your "high school" rep no one will know about your little secret" I said pointing at my stomach

His cheeks flushed a bit and he looked down

"A-Are you ok? Like the baby and everything?" He asked quietly

I felt my anger faltering and I just nodded. He nodded back

"I gotta go" He said running off somewhere

I went to my locker and grabbed a notebook. I made my way to lunch only to be attacked by my three best friends

"Where were you?" Anna asked

I shrugged. I didn't know how to tell them I was having a baby

"Ellie are you ok?" Andy asked

I shook my head

"I'm pregnant" I said

They all gasped and like huddled closer to me

"Really!? What did your mom say?" Val asked

I growled

"She kicked me out. Now I'm staying with the Markham family" I said

This made Val scream and Anna fall off the table. Everyone in the lunch room was looking at us

"Stop you are making a scene" I growled

They both got quiet and adjusted

"Mrs. Markham saw me crying somewhere and I told her what happened and they took me in" I said

Val was looking over at a lunch table I looked over and saw Rei and Victor eating and smiling. Victor caught my eye and got up smiling at me. Anna squeaked and moved and Val just glared

"Hey Ellie belly" He said kissing my forehead

I smiled up at him and waved. He looked around at my friends

"Why is the red head glaring at me" Victor asked looking back at her

She blinked and turned to study his face. He smiled at her then looked at Anna who was looking at her face in her compact and Andy was busy eating

"Why aren't you eating?" Victor asked

I shrugged

"I rather my baby not be sick from school food" I said

He shook his head and ran back to is table then came back to me with a bag

"Dad gave Rei the food. It's all healthy and he gave you carrots instead of fruit" Victor said

I smiled and pulled out a turkey sandwich and a bottle of water

"Me and Rei got food poisoning here freshman year. Dad threw a fit and now he makes our lunches" Victor said sitting next to me

I giggled and ate my food happily. Val, Anna, and Andy warmed up to Victor after a while and we were all laughing

"So El if you are preggo. Who is the dad?" Val asked

I choked on my water and Victor rubbed my back. Once I composed myself I spoke

"Uh I was drunk. I don't really know" I said

Andy slapped my arm and Anna pinched me

"You drunkenly lost your v-card?!" Anna screeched

I smacked her head and looked around

"Tell the world" I growled

She bit her lip and sat back after I said they all looked at me funny

"You know what if you guys are going to do that fuck you" I said angrily pushing away from the table and left

I knew Victor followed me because who else could it be walking into the girls room with big feet. He locked us both in the big stall

"What did Rei say to you?" He asked angrily

I looked at my feet

"He said he has an appearance to obtain" I said softly

Victor growled and punched the wall. I hugged his back and he patted my hands

"We got our self in a nice situation didn't we?" Victor asked

I nodded and he chuckled. I dragged him out of the bathroom and we went on with the rest of our days till the bell rang that signal it was time to leave

"Ellie. Do you mind waiting for lacrosse practice to be over and we will take you home" Victor said

I nodded

"Give me my sunglasses" I said

He laughed and pulled them out of his pocket. I walked out to the field and sat on the bleachers. Some of the cheerleaders gave me looks but i ignored them and laid back

"You didn't tell anyone did you?" I heard his voice and growled

I was looking up at him

"No I lied and told people I don't know" I said

He nodded and ran down the bleachers to the field I turned my head and watched them for a while. Victor was still mad he kept slamming into Rei and then going in a different direction. I didn't know I had fallen asleep till I felt like someone was carrying me

"Why didn't you just wake me?" I asked

I still didn't open my eyes

"Victor would break my neck if I did that or you could" he said

I wiggled around and he stopped to let me walk. I yawned and when we got to the car I crawled in the back seat of their SUV and drifted off again I heard the door shut and then the car started

"El" I heard Victor's voice

I turned and he was looking behind his seat

"Why so sleepy?" He asked

I shrugged and yawned. He smiled and nodded I closed my eyes again and when I woke up this time I was in bed and Victor was asleep next to me with damp hair

"Vicky why are you in here?" I asked

He rolled on his stomach and pulled me to his side

"Shh" He said

I huffed and played with his hair his curls were so nice and soft

"That feels nice" He said

I smiled and played with his hair more. He opened one of his eyes and looked at me

"Why are you so pretty Ellie?" He asked

I laughed and poked on his face

"I have good genes I guess" I said

He laughed and we laid in silence. Victor's soft breathing put me back to sleep
