Repeating History

Prologue

Two lineages, both alike at heart,
In fair New York, where we find our tale,
From old time rivalries the fight departs,
Where pure hatred makes pure souls prevail.
From the home of both strong enemies
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whose time is unworthy, if you please,
With their love, they end the fight
The outcome unfortunate and their fated end,
Even with all of their family's distraught
Took all they could but had only extend
Here lays the story then give your afterthought,
So please if you will, give me your ears,
Be patient and quiet, till it premieres.

So, just thought of this.
Basically, what I did was I took the original prologue and changed a few things. You can find the original prologue here.

I'll tell you now how I'm going to be planning the rest of the story. I'll be adding chapters like the acts and scenes. Some scenes will split, so it might get confusing. But for those of you who have read Romeo and Juliet, it will make much more sense.

The next chapter isn't very important. It only emphasizes the relationship between the two families so if you'd like you can skip it.
