The Trouble with Mayline Host

Mayline Host and her last days in her family home as her mental illness and manic episodes become the last straw for her father and her mother. Unable to control the dark urges she was born with, Mayline finds herself headed for a more forcible recovery at an asylum.

This short story was written as an assignment for my first creative writing course in college.
