Listen to Your Heart

I ran out of the room as fast as my legs would let me, tears erupted down my face. Once I was outside I didn’t know what to do, I backed up against the brick wall and buried my face into the palms of my hands; crying my heart out. Why was Kennedy acting like this towards me, I know what I did was wrong but really? He went too far this time. All sorts of thing were running through my head I didn’t know what to do. But then I heard someone in front of me call my name.

“Annie? Are you okay?” I looked up and saw John.

Oh fuck, I shook my head not looking at him I walked away.

He started after me, “Annie wait!”

I didn’t look back, kept my head down and walked to my car. I felt his hand grab onto my wrist, I looked at him.

Everything around me started spinning, “J-John let go please.”

“Not until you talk to me!” My sight began to blur.

I grabbed onto on forehead. “Please John, p-please let go.”

He didn’t budge.

Gripping onto me head tighter, I tried to retain my balance but everything became one big blur.

“Annie are you-“I lost it, collapsing onto the concrete parking. My body went numb and all I saw was black. I could feel him shaking me but I didn’t respond.
