The Rule

Ben Hopper had everything, and then lost it all in the span of twenty minutes. In that time, everything he had earned disappeared, including his fortune.
In 2012, he was finally adjusting to a life where survival is a day-to-day thing when he found the door.
It led to a year far in the past, where America and the rest of the world were still recovering from the end of a great war.
In 1945, Ben Hopper became a man with ambition, like many other men his age living in that year.
What he didn't know about was the rule. The rule that applied to the door and, as a result, to him.
Like all rules, it is enforced.
And no mercy is shown to those who break it.
None whatsoever.
  1. The Door
It was strange to have the street address on the back door like that.
  2. 1945
For once, my instinct was right.
  3. Pell's Precious Pieces
Donald Pell was just an average man, and I'll never forget him.
  4. Hopper and the Average American
There was nothing average about this man, not one bit.
  5. Restoring the Balance
I kept telling myself that it was better off like this...one of these days, I might start to believe it.
