Mia Posey, she's 26, works at a bakery and still shares an apartment, in Brisbane; going nowhere. She's been tragically single for a while, to say the least, and after the last one, who would blame her for being socially awkward?
But when she meets Rian Dawson on the train, not knowing that he was the drummer for the, now on hiatus, famous pop-punk band all time low (that she's never heard of) her life gets turned upside down, put in a blender and she comes out of it a whole new person. But is this necessarily a good thing?
