Brighton, the "failiest" bad kid, is sent away approximately seven hundred miles into nowhere for something he just barely did, but this turns out to be the most minor of the incidents that happen at the boarding school he spends the year at. A boarding school so remote that 'Mandrake Preparatory Academy' brings up exactly zero results on Google and while the pamphlet drowns about how prestigious said school is, it brings the question to mind: prestigious to whom?

Upon arriving he gets all the trouble he thought he wanted including a roommate who doesn't know the meaning of anyone's privacy except his own in a dormitory where all the other residents can bench press maybe a hundred times his weight, the so-called popular kids are practically pyromaniacs, and the only girl who wants anything to do with him just keeps turning invisible...
