I guess every girl dreams of a prince to take her far away to his magical kingdom, a knight in shining armor to save her from that boring biology lesson or that mean math teacher but it never happens, he never comes. Right?
Written in the perspective of Charlie a 17 year old who has spent the majority of her life playing mommy to her Grandmother(MeMaw) with alzheimer's, her Grandfather(PePaw) who after losing his only son became withdrawn from the world, her seven year old brother Matty, her immature twin sister Alex, and her mother who works two jobs to keep the house going.
Through her childhood her Dad told her and her sister a story of twin princesses and a Knight whose sole duty is to protect them. When her father died she began telling herself the stories over and writing her own. Little did she know her stories were in a way... real?
