Ice

I gaped, closing and opening my mouth, trying to speak.

" Henri...... Gui?" i whispered hoarsly.

Henri stepped inside the door, wrapping his arms around me.
" Lee Lee. J'ai raté vous" ( i have missed you")

i closed my eyes, relishing in the hug from the man i so dearly missed. " Moi aussi" ( me too)

I then spared a look at the man behind my brother. " Gui? Il y a longe temps" ( it has been a long time)

he nodded, smiling. " Oui."

I ushered both of them into the house, warily eyeing Gui.

Gui was the man who corrupted me as a teenager. He was older than me, far older, and my brother's best friend. He turned me to drugs, and alcohol, and we slept together many times behind Henri's back.

He never found out, obviously.

" Please, sit down" i said, in English this time.

It feels wierd to speak French when i'm in America. When i'm in Pittsburgh, i think English. When i'm in France, i think French.

Henri took the recliner and Gui the lounge chair. I sat on the couch.

" How did you find me? Did Julia tell you i was over here at Kris's?"

He nodded, running a hand through his hair.

" Uh, Oui. She uh, i called her. She pick us up at airport" Henri's english was never as good as mine, but he always managed just fine.

Gui cleared his throat, smirking in my direction," So? Where is 'dis boyfren' i keep 'earing about?"

I looked away, sighing " He's on a road trip. He should be home late tonight or tomorrow morning."

Gui rose an eyebrow," Does 'e know what today is? E' left you 'ere all alone? A great man, i'm sure."

i glared at him. " Kris is an athlete, he's coming home from playing a game. And no, i didn't tell him...we're fighting right now actually, my fault." i whispered the end.

Henri came and sat by me, wraping his arms around me.
" Well, we're together. I'm here. That's all that matters."

i nodded, leaning into his chest.

I turned on the tv, sparing a glance at Gui before laying my head on Henri's chest.

Soon i fell asleep.

But i woke up not long after, to someone yelling.

" AURELIE!! WHAT THE 'ELL IS GOING ON 'ERE!" I heard Kris's voice.

My eyes snapped open, seeing him standing in the doorway, looking at the scene in shock.

He dropped his bags at the door.

I gasped," No! No! Kris! This is my brother Henri!! My brother! He came to see me."
i assured him. I ran up to him, wrapping my arms around his waist and giving him a kiss.

He visibly relaxed, but still was shaken up," And him, who's he?" he motioned to Gui, who was sleeping in the chair.

He alway was a heavy sleeper.

i sighed," That's Gui, my brother's friend. He came along unfortunately."

Henri was awake by now, climbig off the couch and walking dazedly towards us.
He bumped into the table by the door.
" Qu'est-ce qui se passe?" he asked sleepily. ( what is going on?)

I smiled, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards Kris.
"Henri, c'est mon petit ami Kris. Kris, c'est mon frère Henri." i introduced.

Kris shook his hand," C'est un plaisir de vous rencontrer. Désolé pour le malentendu" ( nice to meet you. sorry for the missunderstanding)

Henri nodded, yawning.
Jet Lag is a bitch.

Kris pulled me into the kitchen.

" Why didn't you tell me about today? I would never have left. You have to tell me these things, Aurelie. I can't read your mind." he told me.

I nodded, kissing him roughly.

His arms wrapped around me, pulling me closer to him. I lifted my arms and ran one down his strong, suit covered bicep, and another wound into his hair.

" I *kiss* don't *kiss* want *kiss* to fight *kiss* with you" he sad, placing his lips all over my face and neck.

I held back a moan, knowing my brother and Gui were one room over.

" Me niether," i told him," I love you"

he grinned," I love you too. Now, what are we doing today? I don't really know how this goes? Do we sulk? Watch movies?" he asked delicatly.

I sighed," I don't know. I usually sleep all day. I dont really feel like doing anything"

he nodded, still holding me in his arms.

' Let me take a shower, and then i'll run out and get some food for breakfast, okay?"

i nodded, and he kissed me quickly, letting me go to walk down the hall.

" He's a jealous one." I heard a voice comment.

Gui stood there, leaning against the doorway.

I glared at him," Why are you here, Gui?"
