We know why
I woke up with my face half buried in Party Poisons chest. He was still asleep. There was a shadow blocking the sun. My eyes settled, Kobra Kid was standing over me smirking. I immediately got off of Party Poison.
“well…………” He said
I got up “Shut up” I said brushing past him
He followed me. I looked at myself in the window, fixing my hair.
“SOOOOOOOOOOOO?” Kobra said behind me
“So what?” I said
“You like him and he likes you too huh?” he pressed
“Yeah and?” I said
“Oh” he was defeated, I didn’t even try to deny it
“Did you guys kiss or anything?” he asked
“No, unless you count that first one where he tried to shut me up” I said truthfully
Fun Ghoul came over. Oh great. So it begins.
“Hey Fun, how much do you bet that Party and Liz will be making out by the end of the day?” Kobra said
I rolled my eyes
“OOOOH bet taken!” Fun Ghoul said
“You two are ridiculous” I said walking away
I went and sat at a bench outside the building. I was wearing my sunglasses trying to draw the horizon in front of me. I had found paper in the restaurant and a broken pencil.
“Mind if I sit here?” I heard Partys voice
I looked up. He was standing over me.
“Oh not at all” I said moving my legs
He sat down. He kept looking over at my drawing.
“Do you wanna see?” I said
“Oh, sure” he said
I handed him the paper.
“I know it looks like shit so don’t laugh” I said
“Wow it does look like shit” he laughed
I punched him. He laughed. Then there was an awkward silence. He knows and I know anyone could make a move at any time. Half of me wants to and the other half doesn’t. If I fall even more in love with him that means more pain if I lose him. I leaned on his shoulder.
“I didn’t know you could pin me down like that” Party said referring to last night
“Don’t underestimate me” I laughed
“I really wanted to kiss you ya know”

“But I can’t……………” he breathed
He didn’t need to explain why. I knew why. It’s best for the both of us.
