Our class trip this year is to Washington, DC. Everyone is really excited, especially the girls. There's going to be a dinner cruise, the highlight of the trip.
We all have dresses and we are planning our outfits. You know my friends are hopeless romantics.
"What if he asked you to dance on the cruise?" they ask.
I don't see that happening.
Not unless I wish on every first star.
Not unless I wish every time the clock strikes 11:11.
Not unless I blow away the seeds of every dandelion.
But I really just want to have fun on this trip.
So I still don't see that happening.
Not unless I decide not to give a shit.
