Brighter Than the Stars

Cameron's POV

It's now winter and we decided to go to the snow. We are freezing our butts out here but of course that doesn't stop us from playing in the snow.

"2012 is going to be such a great year for us." Zach said standing next to me. We were on top of a hill and he kept eyeing it down.

"If you want to slide down just do it already." I said

"Oh I want to slide down, I just don't want to crack my head open." he said

"You won't." I assured him

"Fine then, I'm going down but if I die it's your fault." he said then quickly went down. He ran back up then rolled down. He ran into Mikey and took him down, he wouldn't stop laughing. Michael got Zach back by burring him in the snow. Michael's revenge didn't last long because Kira got mad at him for burring Zach saying that it wasn't safe.

"Jerk!" Zach accused and threw a snowball when Michael got him out. We had a snowball fight, I started playing when one hit me in the face. I heard footsteps behind me then
all of a sudden Zach jumped on my back and smashed a snowball on my head. I threw him off and when he landed on the snow he started laughing. I attacked him with snowballs but that only made him laugh harder so I just left him there.

"What did he eat today?" I asked Mike

"I don't know but on the way here he wouldn't stop eating Swedish Fish." he said

"That explains a lot." I said and we stared at him. All of a sudden I felt something hit my back and I turned, so did Mikey. It was the girls, they giggled and dropped the snowball they were about to throw. They tried to act all innocent and just smiled but we chased after them. I caught up to Tori and pinned her to the snow.

"You've been a very very bad girl." I said pointing my finger at her.

"I’m sorry." she said

"Too bad. It's time for your punishment" I said. I said. I gave her little kisses all over her stomach, arms, and face then I started tickling her.

"Stop, stop, stop please!" she pleaded

"Not until I do one more thing." I said and kissed her, we stopped when we heard a scream, it was Kira but it sounded like she got attacked or something. We went towards the scream and we saw her on top of Zach but Michael was on top of her.

"What happened here?" I asked

"I was busy making Kira on the snow when they attacked me." Zach said

"No, I was running from Michael and he came out of nowhere and tackled me to the ground but Zach was there and we fell on him." Kira said

"Hey, I needed to get you back." Michael said

"You two can argue all you want but can you get off of me first?" Zach asked

"You said you were making Kira, what did you mean making her?" I asked

"If they ever get off me I can show you." Zach said and they quickly got off him. Zach got up and revealed a snow angle.

"How is that Kira?" Toro asked

"Kira is my little angle and I wanted to make her as a snow made her out of snow angle." Zach explained

"Aww you are so cute!" Kira said jumping on him and kissed his cheek.

"Guys we have a concert to get to." I said

"I'm so pumped, I can't wait!" Zach said excited

"I know, you've been so hyper today." Mike said

"Should I be less hyper?" Zach asked

"No." Kira said firmly

"What time is it?" Zach asked

"Three forty two." Tori answered

"What!? We have to go!" Zach said running off to the bus and we went after him.

"Relax, there is plenty of time." I said

"There better." Zach said. Soon enough he calmed down and relaxed, so much that he took a nap. I didn't feel like napping so I got some ice cream, there wasn't much left so I got the whole bucket and a big spoon. I sat down in front of the TV and watched random stuff. We had about forty minutes till we get to the venue.

"Cameron, how rude of you to finish all the ice cream and not save me any?" Kira asked "Offended"

"It's not like there was much left." I said

"I'm still taking some." she said grabbing a spoon and we finished it together.

"See sharing is caring." she said

"But I don't care." I said

"You don't care about me?" she asked making a sad face

"No." I quickly said and ran away from her.

"Come back here you jerk!" she yelled chasing me. I ran back to where the bunks are and Michael got mad at me for making noise. He was taking a nap so he didn't appreciate the noise we were making haha. Of course Kira had to come making more noise.

"I told you guys to shut up!" Mikey yelled

"I'm sorry." Kira said

"Whatever." he mumbled

"Maybe we should be quieter." Kira hinted

"No you think?" I said with sarcasm

"Cammy don't be mean to me." Kira whined

"Thirty minutes till we get there." Kira said after a while

"We should wake them up." I said

"I call Mikey!" we blurted at the same time. She ended up beating me to Mikey so I stepped on the bottom bunk and open Zach's curtain. Why do I have to do this?

"Hurry up Cameron." Mikey insisted

"Zach wake up." I said softly, even though I knew that wasn't going to work.

"Did I mention to you guys that Zach doesn't like to be woken up from naps?" I mumbled

"We know that, that’s why you're doing it." Kira said. I tickled him, I pinched him, pulled his
hair, I tried many other things but it wasn't working.

"Zach!" I shouted and shook him until he woke up.

"Get away from me!" he yelled moving me out of the way and went straight to the bathroom. He came out showered and everything but he had a dont-mess-with-with-me face.

Mikey and I were in the back practicing, Mikey had a mini drum set hack here. Zach came in looking cheerful.

"Ready for the concert?" Mikey asked

"Yea!" he exclaimed smiling.

"You look excited." I said

"I am." he said jumping over the couch and sitting down. What fifteen minutes can do to him. Why is my best friend so weird?

"Yeah and you're so normal." Zach uttered

"Oh! I said that out loud hehe." I said. We had about ten minutes until we had to meet the VIP fans and to kill time we decided to talk to fans.

"You're so lucky to be friends with them." a fan told Kira

"Who told you that was a good thing? JK I love these guys." Kira said. We were laughing at a joke a fan had said when Taylor rushed towards us.

"Zach! Zach!" Taylor called

"What now, I'm not in the mood for you." Zach said

"I'm really sorry about what happened." Taylor said

"What are you talking about?" Kira asked

"About the accident." Taylor replied

"What accident?" I asked

"Didn't Zach tell you? His parents were in a bad accident along with Vic and Madeline." Taylor said

"What!?!" Zach asked

"Oh... You didn't know..." Taylor said. Zach looked ready to breakdown and Taylor was trying to leave but was surrounded by fans.

"Hey, everything will be fine." I said softly while patting his back. Zach got his phone out and called someone.

"M-mom?" he choked out "W-what happened? Are you guys ok? How’s everyone? Please tell me everyone made it. P-please, mom tell me everyone's ok. Tell them I love
them." Zach said and a tear fell

"Really? What about the accident?" he asked

"What!? I'm glad you're all ok. I have to go." Zach said and he looked mad.

"What happened?" Kira asked but he ignored her and glared at Taylor.

"How could you!" Zach yelled

"Don't get mad." Taylor said

"How could you play around with something so serious!? How could you make that up!?!" he yelled

"I just wanted to see your reaction. As fun as that was I have to go, your fans scare me." Taylor said but no one moved out of her way.

"I HATE you!" Zach yelled and walked off.

"Go after him." I told Mike.

"Haven't you had enough of making Zach's life miserable?" Kira asked

"No." Taylor answered with arrogance.

"You've done so many horrible things to him but this time you crossed the line and I'm not going to let this happen again. Stay. Away. From. Zach. I swear, if you do something again you will regret messing with us." Kira warned.

"You can't do shit, and I'm not scared of you." Taylor said

"Well you-" Kira was saying

"Kira, drop it, she's not worth it." I said

"Cameron how could you say that? I thought you were different." Taylor said

"Shut up, you're just an attention sneaking whore!" Kira yelled

"Let's go find Zach." I said

"If he was mad when you woke him up from his nap I don't I don't even want to get in his way right now." Kira said trying to lighten the mood

"If you're VIP follow me." I said and we headed back stage.

"First we'll get Zach then we will meet the other girls." I said

"Hey, Zach." I said walking in our room with few fans behind me.

"Don't bother, no matter what you say he won’t respond." Michael said. Zach was sitting on the couch, his eyes were closed, and just by looking at his face you would tell he was mad. The three of us tried a few more times but it was no use.

"It's fine, we understand and the others will too." a fan said. At the sound of her voice Zach opened his eyes. I noticed they were a bit red. Did he cry? I turned to Mikey for an answer and he mouthed later.

"What are you guys standing around for let's go." Zach said getting up

"Zach it's ok if you stay, we saw what happened and we understand." said another fan

"No. She ruined enough of and I'm not about to let her ruin my professional life as well." Zach said

"You still mad?" Kira asked

"Yes. That wasn't funny." Zach said.

As time progressed I saw Zach enjoy himself. Throughout the concert we all had a great time with the fans. I am so lucky I get to do what I love, not many people get that chance. I look to the side of the stage and see my Tori and Kira fist pumping and I chuckle to myself. Those two sure make my life a lot happier.

The concert finished, we cleaned up and now we are going back to the bus. When we got to the door Zach stopped laughing and his smile dropped.

"What's wrong?" Kira asked

"I forgot Taylor was in here. Why does she have to ruin everything?" he asked getting frustrated. Zach went straight to his bunk when he got in. Kira and Mike when somewhere on the bus
together and I stayed with Tori.

"How long do you think he will stay mad?" Tori asked

"A lot. I know him, he is very stubborn and can hold grudges for a long time, believe me I know." I said

"Taylor looks at me weird. Almost as if I did something to her. It makes me feel uncomfortable." Tori said

"Ignore her and just think of me." I said winking

"If I do that I won't stop smiling." she said

"Then you should think of me more often because I love your smile." I said

"You're cute, I love you." she said then quickly got quiet and blushed when she realized what she said

"I love you too." I said kissing her.
