We'll Never Tell a Soul
You can ask anybody and they'd tell you exactly what I'm telling you now. I had never, wasn't going to, and would never date a fan. They're just too unpredictable. You never know what they really want and I just can't afford to let one of them break me. I had too much riding on my semi-sanity at this point.
And you really can't ever know what they want. That's the most important part. Maybe they want the sex, or the money, or the fame. Maybe they really do want to be with you.
But you can't know.
And that's why in every interview, in every fan poll, I'd always said I'd never date a fan. Every hopeful girl from my hometown begging me to go to Prom with them, every fan asking for my phone number, for a date, for a hook up. You just have to say no.
Because you can't know what they really want. All you know is what they say.
And that's why I'd never date a fan.
Until I met her anyway.
