My father always told me when all else fails, look on the bright side; but now I think that saying is absolutely ridiculous and stupid. I could never see the bright side of death, it's too severe and heartbreaking. Barely stumbling through my career as a singer, awhile managing myself and trying to control the guilt I felt over my beloved's death, I didn't know what to expect in life, if I could pull myself out of this rut. But then I met Alex; and he seemed determined to change my life for the better or for worse, and sometimes I wished it was for the latter.
