Skylar Casadei has a problem: three years ago, on the day he found out about how deep in his family really was he also gave his heart away. Kept in a golden locket, he had to protect it in order to keep himself sane. Now, when he is out of the shady business, he needs to find his heart still in one piece. Hopefully.

Payton Joyce is an antiquarian bookshop keeper, but he sells and buys many other things too. The things he possesses and handles aren’t important to him, except for one particular object: a beautiful, golden locket which he found while digging through a dumpster almost a year ago. That is his treasure.
