You Still Have All My Heart

Pictures

Zack.

Everyone had just been informed by Ana that Cassandra and Jordan decided to take a two week vacation and the boys weren’t taking it lightly.

“WHAT? Now, who am I supposed to hang out with?!” Jack asked with a pout.

“You have me Jack-Jack!” Alex shouted to his friend, his arms opened for a hug.

“B-but I can’t beat you in Mario Kart, plus you don’t play Pokémon,” the skunk haired boy told him.

“I’ll-I’ll go easy on you! And, I’ll learn how to play Pokemon! I can change Jack! Don’t leave me!” Alex said desperately. He was staring up at Jack with his puppy dog eyes.

“That’s not good enough! I only want to play with Cass and Jordan! No offense Alex, but you’re a sore winner and loser,” Jack told him.

“But I’m better than Cass at Mario Kart and Jordan hardly ever plays Pokemon with you! I’m here for you! We can have a better time! I’m better than Cass and Jordan combined! C’mon Jack! I love you,” Alex whispered the last sentence.

“I guess you’ll have to do until they come back,” Jack decided after staring at Alex for a little bit.

“Yay! Let’s go play Jackie!” Alex said happily. He had a huge smile on his face now.

Alex and Jack left Jack’s living room, leaving only Zack, Ana, and Rian in the room.

“It looks like Alex wasn’t fazed by the news,” Ana observed.

“He was just trying to hide it. He played up their bromance more than usual,” Zack explained.

“Ahhh, I see,” Ana said understanding the situation.

“So, how do you feel about Cass leaving?” Rian asked his friend.

“Why should it concern me? We broke up,” Zack said.

“So you don’t have any leftover feelings for Cass? What if she’s out there flirting with some surfing guys?” Ana asked the buff bass boy.

“Whatever, she can flirt with whoever she wants, she’ll probably end up sleeping with them anyway,” he muttered, mainly to himself.

“I can’t believe you just said that,” Ana scolded Zack. She said that and then left the room angrily.

“Yeah, dude, I got that you’re mad at her and everything, but no need to say stuff like that,” Rian said, he too, left the room.

“Shit. I didn’t mean it that way. Fuck, I hope she doesn’t do that. She won’t Zack. Don’t worry, she’s still torn up over your break up. There’s no way she could get over me that quickly. I know I could never get over her that quickly. Ugh, I need to get my emotions in check,” Zack scolded himself for his thoughts.

He left the room as well and found everyone in Jack’s room. Alex and Jack were playing Mario Kart and Rian and Ana were talking to each other. Zack decided to join Rian and Ana’s conversation since Jack and Alex wouldn’t tear their eyes away from the TV screen even if their lives depended on it.

“So how are you ad Cassadee doing?” Ana asked the drummer.

“We’re doing good, we celebrated out two and a half year anniversary about two months ago,” Rian explained. “It’s great. We both really love each other,” he added.

“That’s awesome. You guys are so adorable together,” Ana gushed.

“How are you and Jack?” Rian asked the chef.

Zack tuned out the rest of the conversation since he didn’t like how the conversation was going. He decided to concentrate on something else. He began to play a game on his phone but he quickly got bored of it and began to look through his pictures. He first came across some of him and the guys, goofing around. He smiled at seeing some of them, remembering the fun times he had with them. Then, he came across a bunch of him and Cass, There were many of them kissing, holding hands, and just smiling at the camera while their arms were around each other. He immediately stopped at one picture in particular. It was a picture someone had taken for him. Cass was on his back and they were both smiling at the camera. He was sure that Cass had the same picture on her phone.

Zack must have been looking at that picture for a while since when he finally looked up from the screen, everyone had stopped what they were doing earlier. They were now all huddled around Jack’s computer looking at some pictures. Zack walked over to where they were all huddled and sat down next to Alex.

“Oh, hey Zack. It’s nice of you to finally stop staring at your phone and join us,” Jack joked.

“What are we looking at?” Zack asked.

“Oh, I just got a text from Jordan to look on her Twitter,” Ana explained.

“Uhhhh, why?” Alex asked her.

“Something about them at the beach with some friends,” Ana said.

“I wonder who she’s talking about,” Rian wondered out loud.

When Ana got to Jordan’s Twitter page, she looked at her recent tweets and clicked on the first link that she saw and it brought them to Jordan’s Instagram. The picture in front of them surprised them. The girls were nowhere to be seen, it was only a couple of guys with tattoos and sunglasses.

“They’re with the Mexican band!” Jack exclaimed.

“Yeah! Pierce the Veil! They’re nice guys,” Rian said. The guys knew the guys a little since they both played shows in the same area a year ago and met at one of the after parties. They weren't close or anything but they acknowledged each other.

“I wonder what they’re doing together. I didn’t know that the girls knew them,” Alex wondered out loud.

“Hey, Ana do you know them?” Jack asked his girlfriend.

“Nope, I’ve heard of them but I don’t know them personally,” she told the boys.

“Maybe Cass met them at a photoshoot? Or Jordan did a tattoo for one of them?” Zack suggested.

“Yeah, maybe. Are there any other pictures?” Alex asked Ana.

“Let’s check,” Ana said. She went back to Jordan’s Twitter and clicked on the link right after the previous one. This time it showed Jordan kissing on the guy’s cheek.

“What the fuck is this?” Alex asked angrily when he saw the picture. “Why the hell is she kissing this guy? Who is it? Is that Tony? Doesn’t he have a girlfriend?” Alex asked.

“Yeah, don’t worry. It’s just a friendly kiss on the cheek Alex. Don’t freak out. It’s all good. They were just having some fun,” Zack reassured his friend.

“Hey, there are some more. Do you guys wanna see them all?” Ana asked.

“Yeah! We have nothing else to do!” Jack said with a huge smile. He liked looking at pictures.
Ana clicked on the next picture. This one was of Cass, Jordan, and different boy making funny faces.

“Hey, that’s actually a really funny picture,” Jack said while laughing a little.

“Yeah, Jaime’s a funny dude,” Alex said while staring at the picture. “Why couldn’t they have had fun like that here? We could’ve gone to the beach and taken funny pictures with them,” he said after staring at the picture for a little longer.

“Well Alex, you and Jordan just broke up a week ago and Zack and Cassandra too. They needed to get away for a while. They needed to clear their heads and have a little break from the east,” Ana explained.

“How do you know that?” Alex asked her.

“They invited be to go too but I had to say no. I couldn’t take that much time off from my job,” Ana explained.

“I’m glad you didn’t leave us,” Jack told her with a smile. “I don’t know if I could take you being away from me again,” he said quietly.

“Awww, that’s so cute. I would miss you too much,” Ana told him sweetly and she hugged him tightly.

The couple was having their cutesy moment when Alex and Zack both cleared their throats. Jack and Ana were brought back to reality and they both blushed when they saw the annoyed looks on both Alex and Zack’s faces.

“Sorry,” Ana told them sheepishly. She quickly turned back to the computer screen and clicked on another link. A picture of everyone, all six of them, sitting on their towels came up. Cassandra and Jordan seemed to be sitting in between two of the boys’ legs and everyone was smiling widely.

“What the fuck? Is that Jordan on Vic Fuentes?” Alex asked, pissed. He knew that it was a harmless action but he wasn’t comfortable with it. He had always been protective when it came to Jordan and he usually jumped to conclusions when she was involved. “Why are they together? Why do they look so happy? Why are his arms wrapped tightly around her waist? And why is she wearing such a small bikini?!” Alex asked all of the questions after examining the picture a little longer.

“Zack, are you jealous that Cass is sitting on that guys lap?” Ana asked the blonde boy.

“Nope. We broke up so she can sit on any guys lap. Pus, they don’t seem to be into each other since he’s not holding her, plus her back isn’t pressed up against his chest. Plus, it’s Mike. He’s a player, there’s no way Cass would go for a guy like him,” Zack told them confidently. Zack knew Cass so well that he could tell what she was thinking and feeling from her body language and vice versa. Their relationship was like a well-oiled machine, running smoothly with only little bumps which were fixed immediately. Zack thought that they had the perfect relationship, but he guessed that Cass thought otherwise because the next thing he knows she cheated on him with some guy and they’re over. Now, Zack could only wait for her return and hope to work it out. He may have seemed like he didn’t want to get back together when they initially broke up, but that was only because he was extremely pissed at her. The more he thought about them and their relationship the more he wanted it to work out between them. Zack couldn’t see himself with anyone else except her. He was thankful that their parents had introduced them their junior year of high school.

They continued to look at the pictures that Jordan had posted. Zack could see Alex getting angrier and angrier as they went through her pictures. Soon, it became too much for him and he whipped out his phone and dialed the familiar numbers. He held the phone up to his ear and glared at the screen, waiting for someone to pick up. Rian, Jack and Ana were still looking through the picture, but Zack was focused on his pink haired friend.

“Fuck, why isn’t she picking up?” Alex asked his friend when he heard her voicemail start playing.

“Maybe she doesn’t want to talk to you?” Zack suggested to his friend.

Alex seemed to ignore what he said and dialed the number again. The two waited for a little bit but then Alex was greeted with the machine again.

“Fuck, I hate this. Whatever, I’m going to keep calling her until someone picks up. I need to talk to her,” Alex said determined to talk to his ex-lover. After what seemed like Alex’s twentieth call someone finally picked up.

“Jordan?” Alex said into the phone. Zack was curious about what Alex would tell her and maybe if he was lucky he would be able to talk to Cassandra. “Wait, Cass? Is that you?” Alex asked the other person on the phone.

Zack froze when he heard his ex-fiancé’s name. She was so close, just on the other end of the phone. He could so easily talk to her, apologize for blowing up in her face and breaking up with her. It was such an easy thing to do, but Zack had too much pride. He wanted her to come back to him, asking for a second chance. After all, she was the one who was unfaithful.

“Wait, what do you mean she doesn’t want to talk to me? She has nothing to say to me? Tell her that I saw the pictures she posted and I really need to talk to her,” Alex told Cass desperately. When Alex heard the reply he was not happy. “Y’know what? Fuck it. Whatever. Tell her that I’ll talk to her later,” Alex told Cass angrily. He listened to what the girl said and then handed the phone to Zack.

“Hello?” Zack said into the phone.

“Hey, Zack. I don’t know exactly why I asked Alex to hadn’t the phone over to you but I just wanted to let you know that I don’t see any of those guys as more than friends,” Cass told him quietly.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought. I could tell from the pictures,” Zack told her.

“Oh, yeah, well, uh, that’s all I wanted to say,” Cass told him.

“Nothing else?” Zack asked her, hoping that she’d apologize to him about cheating on him and that she wanted to get together again. He knew that it was farfetched but she said that she didn’t like any of the guys as more than friends, so that meant that she had to still like him!

“Uh, that’s it. Well, I gotta go. Jordan and I are getting ready for a party. I’ll talk to you later?” Cassandra said into the phone.

“Yeah, I’ll talk to you later,” Zack said and he hung up the phone. He gave Alex back his phone and just sat there, thinking about the conversation that he just had. She was going to a party? Really? He wondered who was going to be there. Definitely the Pierce the Veil Boys but who else? Would Cass flirt with anyone? Would anyone flirt with her? Who am I kidding; of course people would flirt with her. She was gorgeous.

“So, did Cass say anything about Jordan?” Alex asked his friend.

“Not really, she mentioned that the two of them were getting ready for a party,” Zack told her lead singer.

“What? Those boys will be there no doubt,” Alex said, mostly to himself, “I bet Jordan’s gonna be all flirty with Vic.”

“Well, there’s nothing we can do about it, Alex,” Zack said.

“Whatever, I’m tired. I’m going to bed,” Alex told him. He walked over to Jack’s bed and laid down on it.

Zack knew that Alex was upset and he thought it would be the best to just leave the older boy alone. Zack joined his other friends by the computer and looked at the pictures. Too bad he couldn’t concentrate on them, he could only think about Cass and what she was going to be wearing to the party and who she’d be with.
