Nicotine and Faded Dreams
Merch girl. It sounds like a dream come true to those of you who don’t entirely understand what it consists of. Hanging out with band members, touring the world, meeting new people, sounds fantastic right?
In reality it consists of traveling with smelly men, carrying boxes and boxes of merchandise in and out of venues every single night, keeping track of how much is sold and paying bills, getting hit on by sleazy dudes, dealing with insanely idiotic fan girls who don’t know what size shirt they wear, and being the very last person out of the venue. It’s a smelly, dirty, physically and emotionally painful life, and you know what, I love absolutely every second of it.
