To Move on Is to Grow

We went from New York to Massachusetts. I again woke up early with Andy right beside me still sleeping. I turned my phone to see the time and it read 7:15 and thought it was a perfect time for me to wake up and wake the blue eyed bassist beside me as well. Tyler the day before had told me he was falling for me I didn't know how to react or what to say to him when I would see him that day
"Andy its 7:15 we should get up" I said.
"No i'm comfy and tired" He replied.
"I do not care. I'll give you a wet willy"
"I don't believe you"
I stuck my index finger in my mouth got it good and wet brought it to his ear, stuck my finger in and said "wet willy!"
"You really did it!" he exclaimed.
I couldn't help but giggle and rolled over him and got out of our bunk and changed with Andy following me close behind me.
"Morning guys" I met the rest of the guys in the front lounge Lou putting his arm over my shoulder.
"Your up early" Eric said to me.
"Yeah it's not like you're help or anything" Lou joked.
"Okay i'm going back to bed then" I laughed.
"No we need you!" Andy yelled grabbing me by my waist and kissed me.
"Okay I guess i'll stay and help!"
"Yay!" all the guys said.
We walked off the bus and around the to trailer to grab some boxes to take into the venue to the tent and that's where I met Brian for the first time
"Hello I'm Brian" reaching his hand to mine.
"Hi I'm Cassie" taking my hand in his and shaking it "I'm glad the guys hired another merch person so maybe I can watch some bands play"
"yeah I'm honored these guys are awesome!" he replied.
"They are indeed" I said hugging Andy feeling him hug me back.
"How many more boxes we got?" I asked Eric.
"Like ten" he replied.
"Oh shit we gotta go back"
All eight of us including Brian walked back to the trailer to grab the rest of the boxes and rest of the shirts and whatnot for the rest of the day at Warped Tour
"Cassie" I heard a familiar call from behind me and say Tyler standing there with arms open waiting for me to embrace his. I hesitated to hug him because of what happened between us and how he felt about me.
"Hey Tyler!" I hugged him tightly around his skinny waist.
"Hey guys! Whose the new guy?" Tyler asked.
"This is Brian our new and other merch guy" Kyle answered.
"Hi. Nice to meet you. I sing in Woe, Is Me" Tyler reached his hand out to Brian's'.
I was in awkward situation and tightly wrapped my arms around Andy trying to keep my mind off Tyler. I let go of Andy's waist and and walked to Josh to tell him what has been on my mind from yesterday
"Josh I want to tell you something" I grabbed him by the wrist.
"Alright lets find a quiet place to talk" he replied "Hey guy we will be back"
We walked to the food court because we were both kind of hungry
"I would like a slice of pepperoni pizza please and what ever for my sister" Josh told the man behind the counter.
"Um nachos please which extra cheese as well. Thank you" I stated.
We waited for our food on the side so everyone else could order food.
"What's up?" Josh started.
"Well remember yesterday when I bought those Vans? Well I met up with Tyler and hung out and he told me that he was falling for me" I replied.
"What?" he asked puzzled.
"Tyler Carter is in love with me and I don't know what to do. You're my brother and didnt know who else to tell"
"He didn't make a move did he?"
"No. He knows I'm with Andy and in love"
"Thank god. I'd have to bust a cap"
I couldn't help but laugh Josh always made me laugh and made me feel better
"What should I do?" I asked.
"Tell him that you too will never be together because your in love Andy but don't be mean about it" he responded.
"Why didn't I think of that?"
"Because you're not me sis"
"I don't wanna be you" we both laughed as we got our food and made our way back to the tent.
Andy caught my eye and looked puzzled. I went right up to him and hugged tight and assured him with a kiss on the lips. I looked to Tyler who was looking down not trying to make eye contact with me he walked back to his tent because he didn't want to be in an awkward situation like I in was earlier
"Hey Tyler got a sec I need to talk to you" I began.
"Um not really. Go make out with Andy more" he snapped back walking away.
I let one of my best friends walk away. He had no reason to be mad I did nothing wrong. I was deeply in love with Andy was that my crime? I needed to get to the bottom of this
I yelled back to my friend "Carter!! I said I needed to talk to you it wasn't a question."
he turned around and looked at me with eyes wide open and walked back
"I said I didn't have time" he started.
"I don't care. You don't play for another hour"
"Won't Andy be mad you're talking to me?"
"Andy isn't my boss. what the hell is your problem?"
"I'm in love with a girl that I can never have. Cassie you're beautiful, smart and funny. I'm sorry I was being an ass"
"Tyler you know your one of my best friends. I love you but their are plenty of beautiful, smart and funny fish in the sea and you will find her. I promise"
I wrapped my arms around his waist for one his famous bear hugs that I love.
"Oh my you know its gunna take a while for me to find a girl?" he said.
"Oh I know. Patience my friend" I responded.
We walked back to the tents arms linked
"Are you okay baby?" Andy asked kissing my temple.
"Yeah everything is fine. I needed to straighten some things out" I reassured.
I looked to Josh and gave a quick wink letting him know everything was okay.
