Kevin Daniels was my first friend

It was my first day of school in this tiny town of michigan

It was a rainy day and it was raining HARD.

I had no umbrella and he was kind enough to lend me his when he saw me walking in the rain, soaked and all.

I remember those first words he ever spoke to me

"That is some storm out there, huh? My name's kevin. What's yours?"

"chelsea cox and thanks for the umbrella"

"no problem, are you new here because I've never seen you before."

"yeah, just moved in yesterday."

"cool, you can get your class schedule in the registrar which is in that building over there and make sure to ask for a directory too because you do not want to get lost. Trust me, it is just hell."

"Oh gee, thanks alot."

"You're welcome, now I gotta get to class before the bell rings or miss benson will kick my ass."

"okay, bye!"
