I like you, too?

Scarlett knew she couldn't do this. It wasn't right and it wouldn't be fair to Ava. But Nick liked her and no guy had ever truly come out to her and said he liked her before. What was she supposed to do?

*A few weeks earlier*

"Hey Scarlett! What's going on?" Nick asked.
"Oh, not much. I have dance in a little bit." Scarlett told him.
"Oh, that's cool."
"Yeah, I guess."
"You guess?"
"Oh, I have to go... Um, how about you text me or something! I really have to go!"
"But I don't have your-... number."
Scarlett had already disappeared from sight before he could finish. Nick asked Scarlett's friend for her number:

Nick: Hey Scarlett! I got your number from Ava. It's Nick.

Scarlett: Oh hey! Sorry about earlier... I thought you already had my number.

Nick: Oh, no I didn't. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you something, Scarlett. Well... I-I... uh... I really like you..

Scarlett: You do?! Wow, um... I like you too Nick.

At least that's what she thought. Scarlett didn't really know what to think at the moment. Everything was just happening too fast. Nick was a nice guy but did she really have feelings for him?
