Our Perfect Love Story

You're Perfect To Me

"Is that so?" He bent his head down low, breathing his words into my ear. It sent shivers down my spine, a rush of heat through my body. It made my knees weak and my teeth start to shatter. So, maybe I was the one with the sexual tension. "I don't think so."

He pressed his mouth to mine, then rolled off of me and into a sitting position on the edge of my bed. "Come on, let's go do something! Show me around this rainy place."

I crawled over to him, and grabbed his hand to drag him off of my bed. I slipped my feet into my flip flops, while he put his shoes on. I wrapped myself around his arm, our fingers locked together. As we walked out my door, I looked in the mirror. "Ew, my hair looks so bad."

My fingers reached up to fix the messy strands. "You look perfect."

"But my hair doesn't."

"That could use some work."

I feigned hurt, and continued to mess with my hair.

"You're so cute." He mumbled, squeezing my fingers.

"I missed you." I told him as we walked out the front door to my car.

"I know. I thought about you all the time."

"I didn't do anything else."

We walked slowly out the front gate, I walked around to the drivers side to unlock the doors. "Can I drive?" Noel asked me. He was standing behind me, his hands on my hips.

"No."

"But why?"

"Because I wanna. Next time."

"Alright fine." He waited until I was in, then closed the door behind me. I started the engine as he walked around. He buckled himself as I drove down my street into town.

"So, there isn't much here. Mainly little historic building, barely standing. We're gonna stop at a store for some water, and then I wanna take you on a walk."

"Whatever you want." He held my hand over the gear shift, and looked at me constantly.

I concentrated on the road, not really having to think about driving through the familiar streets. Soon we were at the only convenient store in town. We grabbed the necessities and went back to the car. Noel headed to the drivers side, and I was quick to object. "You said next time, remember?"

"That's not what I meant."

"Then clarify next time." He stuck his tongue out at me, and got in. I stomped around, and got in next to him. I didn't admit it to him, but it felt nice not having to drive. I watched him, holding his free hand in my lap when he didn't need it. I directed him to the National Park, and he drove into it, parking into one of the parking spaces in the section of the path I pointed out.
