INFEXION
The Hotel
He walked down a lonely road ahead of him. bare and empty buildings, they were filled with life. now just the stench of disease and death. He walks on with little fear to show.
He goes by the name Jeff, pale skin and gray eyes, a nice complexion toward the sun
a mysterious look in his eyes. a well built man who tries to survive but someday will lose himself inside.
He hears a rattle to his right, " who's there?"
He hears a girl crying, " help me.......please, " he runs to her. She crounched in a corner crying.He kneals down, " whats wrong?" . She stares at him. he helps her up, shes weak as hell, he holds on to her, "i..i ....im scared......", she managed to choke out, " i know .... i am to" he looks at her. She looks at him , gives him a weak smile, then she starts gagging. He lets go of her . She falls on the floor choking in her own bile. " Are you okay," he said worringly. She looked at him and gave him an evil grin. Her eyes rolled back and she started to scream. He staggered back and fell. She pounced at him and he blocked her using his arm. She started digging her nails into his arm. He cried in pain and threw her off of him. He tried to reach for his gun but she was too quick. He managed to grab it , instead of shooting her he stabbed her with it and she cried loudly in pain and he heard running outside. He struggled to get up, he took his gun and arm out of her. and went into an alley around the corner. and he heard running after him. He ran with all his might . he heard screeching and screaming behind him. He took a sharp right and crashed into a sign. he kept moving jumping on top of cars dodging around poles. The screaming wouldnt stop they kept coming closer. He was terrified but he wouldnt let his fear take over him.He just kept running. He ran into a building on his left. He quickly closed the doors and stacked everything he could in front. He heard pounding and screeching from the other side. He sat down his back against the door and stared into near darkness. He stood up and walked slowly forward. He heard groaning. he slowly walked to the stairs. He snapped his lighter on. He slowly started walking up lilstening closely, hearing footsteps in the next level above , he stoppped and listened carefully some more, he heard voices, his eyes lit up. He walked upstairs swiftly. As soon as he got to the entrance of the hallway it went quiet. he could hear his heart pounding, he waited for a noise, a voice, anything that proves to him that it was life. Then an ear piercing scream came from down the hallway. He took off running fast down the hallway. He heard struggling and screaming. as soon as he entered the scene. He looked into the face of the most hideous thing he ever seen, blood and stench filled the room, he seen the inside of that poor girls life pour out, she stared into vast nothingness. She was nearly half eaten when the thing dropped her and gave jeff a nasty snarl. It pounced and Jeff dodged, the thing nearly killed him with the hit of its claw. but it just scraped him. Jeff ran down the hall as fast as he could. the thing was gaining on him. The floor underneath gave out and Jeff fell down trying to catch something to hold on but didnt grab in enough time. He fell to the floor landing on his back, he cried out in pain but eventually got back up and booked it to the back of the building. The thing got up and looked for Jeff but couldnt find him. It started ripping and demolishing everything in its path. Jeff ran frantically to find an exit. he looked for doors, windows, anything that would get him out. The thing stopped shortly. Jeff stood still and waited to hear if it was still there, he looked behind him and it turned its head slowly to the right at Jeff and stared directly at him. It sent a chill through Jeff's bones and he knew what he had to do and that was to.......run. The thing pounced at him first but Jeff was quicker, he kept running towards the back encountering with some of the infected. He swept them off quickly though. He finally saw a door that read "EXIT". Jeff was so relieved and took off toward the door. The thing was gaining on him though. He pushed open the door and ran to the right. The thing ripped open the wall to see where Jeff went, but Jeff was gone. The thing screamed and roared in anger. Jeff hid behind a wall and took deep breaths. He was tired and worn out. he fell asleep instantly without a care. The next morning he woke up and gasped that he lay here out in the open. He quickly got up and looked around. Empty. He began to trot off when he heard growling. He looked behind him. Nothing. His eyes bulged and looked up. The creature thing was hanging on the wall to wait for him to wake up. It drooled on him and smiled the most horrible smile. It sensed his fear and screamed. Jeff took off right at that moment. He didnt look back he just kept running. The creature jumped and chased him. Jeff duck into the tiniest of places, but the creature always ruined his cover. Jeff ran into a pipe line and fell. As he slid onto his back, all he knew at that moment was fear. The creature grabbed him by his leg and lifted him off the ground. "oh my god im gonna die im gonna die im gonna die!" he said over in his head. He needed a plan and he needed it FAST! He looked all around him to see what he could grab but nothing was close enough because he was off the ground. The creature stared at him and licked its lips. All Jeff had was his pistol and that was at least better than nothing. He grabbed for it but it was gone. It wasnt with him. He paniced more. The creature was ready for breakfast. It opened its mouth wide. Jeff was hovering over the gaping hole and screamed. The creature made kind of like a chuckle knowing Jeff was very scared. It let go of his leg and Jeff screamed grabbing onto his jaw. The creature got mad and tried to shove him in his mouth but Jeff had a death grip. He somehow managed to fall out. The creature was pissed. He got up and made a run for it not knowing what else to do. The creature chased after him slowly gaining on him. Jeff entered into a doorway not knowing where it leads but went in anyway. The creature lost him again and it roared in anger. Letting every hungry infected thing know that their was or at least someone to eat. Jeff hid in a closet and panted. He slowly calmed down but heard screeching and screaming outside.He sat there in fear. He turned the light on in the "closet." But as soon as the light clicked on he saw stairs leading down. Well, since he wasnt going to go outside with every hungry thing out there. He shrugged and started down the stairs.............and gasped.
