My Immortal

School once again passed pretty quickly, I and Jacob were on our way to the local music-store near our school.

“Soo, Jacoby I found out who wrote that note” I told him.

He turned to me and arched an eyebrow as a sign for me to continue talking.

“Well, while I was in Economy I got a note and I searched for the person who sent it and guess who it was?”

Jacob simply shrugged his shoulders and mumbled ‘I don’t know’.

“Serena! I asked her what and who she meant and you’ll never believe who she was talking about?!”

“Me?” Jacob smirked proudly and I slapped him playfully on the arm.

“Noooo, Matt. Can you believe her? She thinks that I like Matt and that I want him… Yuck” I stated
and made a puking noise.

“Well…” he began.

“Well what, Jacob?” I eyed him suspiciously.

“I mean… That compared how he looked at you before, you’ve changed in his eyes. He looks at you weirdly and surprisingly he’s always quiet when you’re around” he explained as he opened the door to the music store.

I walked in waiting for Jacob to appear beside me to continue.

“Well, that’s his problem right? Let’s not talk about this here though, I’m going to check out pianos” I called and walked away towards the pianos.

I spotted one of my favorite pianos and looked around to see if any of the staff was there but no one was in sight so I stepped forward and sat down behind it. My fingers started moving playing a random tune and humming along with it. I stopped playing and caressed the keyboards slowly, I wished I could have my own piano.

“You play good and sing good if your humming sounds that good” a male voice spoke which cause me to turn.

“Uh, thanks?” I asked sort of confused.

“I’m Tim” he said and gave me a soft smile.

“Amy” I repeated his actions.

“So have you played for long or?”

“Well since I was 9 so about 8 years I guess” I replied “Do you play any instruments?”

“Yeah, actually I’m a bassist in a band” he explained.

I nodded sheepishly and looked down at the floor.

“Amees! Come here!” Jacob shouted.

”Guess that’s my cue to go, bye” I excused myself and gave Tim a small smile.

I walked along the isle, past the cd’s and towards the sound equipment and microphones.

Jacob stood in the corner next to the shelves with microphones, eyeing them intriguingly.

“So?” I asked, implying why he called for me.

“I have something I need to tell you… I’ve sort of kept this a secret from you” he explained.

“What?” I said shocked.
