Maya is only 17 years old when she is forced to go to school because of her being a lesbian.

Her father soon left a weeping wife, and a hateful daughter. For all she knew, Maya could just wish her father dead, she never loved him, and never will. It was the time when she was 10 years old that she had known and told her parents about her Sexuality.

Her mother, Carrie expected this, her father did not, and went berserk about it, hurting his wife and his daughter, after that, he left them vowing never to return.

7 years later, her mother became harsh, and sent Maya to school. Maya never had any friends, and she never spoke to anyone, but when a new English teacher walked into her class, Maya felt that there was hope that she could live a normal life again.
