It's What's Underneath the Skin; the Beauty that Shines Within

“Come in,” I shouted to the person, knocking on the door.

I heard the door opening and Parker ran to find who was at the door and a minute later, I found Kylee standing there and I was a little shocked…okay a lot shocked. To be honest, I don’t think Kylee likes me and she never just shows up at my house.

“So…um…are you busy,” She questioned.

“I don’t know, my schedule is pretty full,” I joked.

“I can go,” Ky mumbled turning around.

“No,” I giggled, getting up and pulling her over to the couch. “I was just teasing. I’m working on posting some pictures and writing a review of a music video, it’s nothing urgent. Did you need something?”

“Um, not in particular…” She trailed off. “Well I guess...kind of.”

“What is it?” I asked, sitting by her.

“I don’t know if you’ll really care,” Ky started.

“Of course I will, you’re my sister,” I replied.

“Okay,” She sighed. “Well, yesterday Tanner hurt his shoulder.”

“And…” I prodded.

“I was rubbing some cream on his shoulder,” Ky started up again.

“Ooooh spicy,” I giggled.

“Well…we kissed.” Kylee ran a hand through her hair.

“You kissed,” I gasped.

“Yeah,” She groaned.

“Oh my gosh!” I squealed, bouncing up and down. “That’s so cute!”

“No, it’s not cute! I’m his nanny, I can’t like him and I really can’t kiss him!” Kylee sighed, falling back on the couch.

“But if you like him and obviously he likes you because he kissed you then why can’t you be together? And Kenzie loves you, you two are perfect!” I beamed.

“I can’t talk to him though, it’s so awkward,” She replied.

“I bet if you did, the two of you would get together,” I smiled, poking her side.

“Stop,” Ky giggled.

“Not til you talk to him,” I sang.

“Alright, I’ll talk to him….as soon as you talk to Kendall,” She said.

”What?” I shot.

“I know you like him,” Ky told me.

“You are crazy,” I laughed. “I mean, he’s attractive obviously but I don’t like him in that way.”

“Sure….” She teased.

“Just go talk to Tanner!” I rolled my eyes playfully.

We both just laughed before she said she had to get going. Even though Ky wasn’t here very long, I feel like we bonded and I’m touched that she would trust me enough to tell me that but I hope her and Tanner get together, those two would be so cute!
