The Future is Now

Jacks POV:
After Sophie got the twins ready for bed she let them hangout in the livingroom for a little bit. Alex had decided to go to bed, he mumbled somthing about the lights and the tv and water so he left the room. Later me and Sophie carried the twins to bed and once i set Casey in her bed she woke up.

"Hey sorry, did i wake you?" i asked her

"No" she said

"Go back to sleep baby. Jack i'll get you a blanket and pillow" Sophie said

"Thanks" i said

"No!, uncle Jack sleep here!" Casey said and i laughed

"Sweetie theres no extra bed for me other wise i would" i said

"Sleep with me" she said

"Im a little to tall for this bed" i said

"Pwease" she said making a sad face that ironically looked just like Alexs when he trys to guilt me into doing somthing

"Aww geez, the face. You really are your fathers daughter. I'll sleep with you" i said and Sophie laughed

"Good night you two" she said and left

"Okay scooch over" i said

"Uncle Jack you gotta get jammies on first" Casey said

"I dont have any" i said, i was planning on sleeping in my boxers. Not doing that now that im sleeping with my god daughter

"Steal some of daddys" she said giggling, man she was just like Alex. Personality and looks and all

"Alright" i said and went to Sophie and Alexs room and stole some of Alexs sweat pants and changed in the hall and then went to bed with Casey

That night i kept waking up, the bed was deffinetly not made for a grown man thats for sure. At one point when i woke up i could hear Alex puking which was totally nasty. I felt bad for him and got up and went to get him water, i feel like i owe him since hes had to deal with me hungover before. I got the water and walked into the bathroom and turned the light on brighter.

"What the hell!" he whinned

"Hey" i said closing the door with my foot

"What Jack" he said

"Nothing just thought you'd like some water" i said taking a sip

"And your drinking it?" he said

"Mhmm just a little" i said and he laughed and i handed it to him

"Thanks" he said

"Mhmm drink up, you need to rehydrate" i said

"Yeah" he said taking a sip and made a weird face at the cup

"Whats wrong?" i said

"I cant drink this, its making me sick" he said handing it back while holding his stomach

"Poor Alex" i laughed setting the cup on the side of the tub and i sat down behind him

"Go back to bed, just because im up doesnt mean you have to suffer to" he said

"Eh, your bath rug is alot comfier then laying in the bed with Casey" i said and laid on the floor

"You were sleeping in the bed with my daughter?" he asked

"Mhmm" i said

Alex sat infront of the toilet for a little while longer and then he laid next to me. I stood up and turned the light down and went back to lying on the floor. Me and Alex just talked for a bit, mostly he just rambled on about random stuff. After talking for a while he fell asleep, i fell asleep a few minutes later because i was exhausted. The next morning we woke up to Micah yelling.

"Mama!, daddy and uncle Jack are sleeping in the bathroom!" Micah yelled

"What?. Owww" i said and then whinned because my neck was sore

"Jack, Alex what the hells going on?" Sophie said walking in

"We fell asleep" i said

"Alex wake the hell up" she said kicking Alexs leg

"Go away" he mumbled cuddling into me

"Oh man i gotta take a picture of this" Sophie laughed taking a picture of us

"Come on get up sunshine" i said sitting up

"Jack im tired!" Alex whinned

"So am i but its time to wake up" i said getting off the floor

"Help" he said and put his hands up and i helped him off the floor

"You smell like alcohol" i said

"I know" he said

"Shower, im gonna take the bus home and then i'll be back to get you in a little while. Were gonna spend some Jack and Alex time together, its been to freaking long" i said and he nodded

"Alright" he said rubbing his neck and me and Sophie left the room and he closed the door

"So that picture...what are you gonna do with it?" i asked her

"Not sure yet" she laughed

I took the bus home and instantly took a shower, Melinda was up and she was trying to talk to me but i ignored her. I felt so nasty. After i showered i got dressed and then filled Melinda in on everything, she gave me a weird look and laughed. I left and went back to Alexs, i honked my horn and he came out with sunglasses and water.

"Hey" Alex said kinda softly getting in the car

"You look like a mess" i laughed

"Well i am hungover" he said taking a advil

"Oh man can i have one!, my necks killing me!" i said

"Yeah" he said passing me the second pill and i took his water and took a sip

"Mmm cold water" i said handing the bottle back

"Where are we going?" he asked

"Breakfast!" i said

"Mmm...tummy says no" he said

"Alex" i sighed

"You try eating while hungover" he said

"Last time i was hungover i slept for a few hours and slept it off. Then i ate" i said

"Exactly!" he said

"Just have coffee then" i said and he nodded smiling

"Mmm caffine" he said and i laughed

We got to the diner and we sat in a booth. I ordered pancakes and coffee and Alex just had coffee, i tryed to convince him to eat but he didnt wanna. After a little while my food came and it was super yummy. I tryed to feed some to Alex and he just gave me a serious glare.

"You sure your not hungry?" i asked

"Not at all" he said looking pale

"Mkay" i laughed

"So, what did you think of Sophies brother?" he said

"He was cool" i said

"Yeah. So you tryed sleeping in the same bed as Casey last night?" he asked

"Yeah. I tryed to turn her down but she gave me that sad puppy dog look you give me, i couldnt say no!" i said and he laughed

"Thats my girl" he said sounding really proud

"Yeah shes a mini Alex" i said

"Yeah and she looks just like me" he said

"She does!" i said

"Which means shes especially cute because her daddys hot" he said

"Yeah sure, im pretty sure shes got some of mommys looks to" i said

"Nope shes got all daddys looks" he said drinking his coffee

"Your so vain, anyways take those damn things off, people are staring. They probably think your a crazy person" i said

"Im hungover!, plus its to bright in here" he said

"Its really not" i said, the blinds were shut. I stole his sun glasses and he gasped

"Ahhh Jack give me them!, oww" he said and took them back

"Weirdo" i said and he flipped me off
