The Future is Now

-Fast forward to saturday-

Sophies POV:
Today the twins were having a sleepover with a few friends. Jack was also sleeping over, this should be entertaining. I went to the store to get some stuff for tonight and when i came back all the kids that were sleeping over were over.

"Hey" i said

"Sophie!" Alex said hugging me

"How's it going so far?" i asked

"Hectic" he said

"I bet" i said

"Uncle Jack can we put makeup on you?" Casey asked Jack

"Sure, Sophie wheres your makeup?" Jack said

"Here" i said pulling my makeup bag out of my purse and throwing it at him

"This is gonna be a disaster" Alex said

"Yep" i said

Jack played with the kids while Alex helped me make cupcakes, we were making chocolate with vanilla frosting. I was so glad Jack was here to help out since all together we have 6 kids here. A little while later Jack walks in holding his eye and he was covered in makeup.

"What happened?" Alex laughed

"Your daughter poked me in the eye with mascara" Jack said

"Rinse your eye out so it doesnt get irritated" i said

"So glad that wasnt me" Alex said

"Daddy, your turn!" Casey yelled and Alex froze

"Yeah daddy, go" i laughed

"Daddys busy" Alex said

"Liar!" Casey said

"Hah!" Jack said from the sink and Alex threw a plastic cup at him

"Hold on a second" Alex said going over to where we keep the alcohol

"Alex what the hell?" i said

"I need a drink for this activity" he said taking a few sips from the bottle of tequila

"Forget it Alex, guys no more makeup. Pack it up and come in the kitchen. Me and daddy made cupcakes" i said

The rest of the day was pretty crazy, probably because we had six kids to deal with. Jack was really good with everyone which was good. Later that night Jack went out to his car and came back with a book.

"Look at what i got!" Jack said waving a book around

"What?" i said

"This book full of scary stories that me, Alex, Zack and Rian used to read at like all our sleepovers. Its not a sleepover without scary stories!" he said

"What?!, you still have that!?. Gimme!" Alex said and Jack tossed it to him

"Of course i still have it, its the best thing ive ever read!" Jack said

"Sweet!" Alex said flipping through it

"I dont know you guys. These are small kids, how old were you when you read that?" i said

"Like 15, 16" Alex said

"Exactly. I dont think we need to terrify a bunch of children with your horror storys from your youth" i said

"Well we'll see about that!, who wants to read scary stories!" Jack asked

"Yeah!" everyone said

"See kids love this stuff!" Jack said

"Alex help me out here" i said

"Im on Jacks side tonight babe. Sorry" Alex laughed

"Damnitt" i said

Alex and Jack brought out a bunch of pillows and blankets for the sleepover. The kids were gonna sleep on the livingroom floor, its not a sleepover if your not all piled together on the floor. They also constructed a fort of some kind over the area, it was pretty impressive. After they set it up we all sat under it and turned out the lights while Jack started telling scary storys. A little while later he was finishing reading to the kids.

"And to this day you can still hear Jennys screams. Done!" Jack said finishing the story

"Creepy" Casey said putting down the flash light, she was sitting in his lap holding it for him

"Another!" Micah said

"I dont think so, i can tell other storys but were done with this for tonight" Jack said tossing the book to Alex

"Tell storys about when you and daddy were little" Casey said looking up at him

"You wanna hear those?, okay. I got lots of good embaressing ones" Jack said

"Nothing inappropriate" Alex said

"Dont get your panties in a twist. Sheesh. Anywho, when me and your daddy were in middle school we had gym class together. And we played dogeball one day and your daddy really sucked badly at the game and got hit in the face and got a black eye and uncle Rian started telling people daddys girlfriend punched him" Jack said

"Did they believe him?" Casey asked

"Yes they did" Alex said smiling at the memory

"It was hilarious" Jack said

"Yeah not as hilarious as your phase of this crazy fear of leprechauns" Alex said

"Dude that movie was freaky, not to mention the crazy amounts of them at that parade" Jack said

"Jack!, it was a freaking saint pattys day parade! of course they were there!" Alex said laughing

"Whatever!, what about your little fear of balloons?" Jack said

"Seriously?" i said to Alex and raised my eyebrow at him

"Hey those things make me nervous!" Alex said

"Your still afraid of them!?" i said shocked

"Babe, i dont think its really a fear. I dont like to touch them because im afraid they'll pop and i hate that noise. I dont like the texture either because its just so popable!" he said

"Thats totally a fear" i laughed

"Whatever, i dont care" he said

"I'll remember to bring balloons over tommarow after i have dinner with my mom" Jack said

"I'll kick you in your balls. Don't" Alex said

"Awww my little balloon fearing baby" i said hugging him
