The Future is Now

-Fastforward a few weeks-

Today i had the day off, they just didnt need me. I let Alex sleep in and i took the twins to school. When i got home he was still sleeping and i tryed waking him but he he was just really out. Later While i was watching tv Alex walked in, he looked like he had a good night. He laid next to me and i ruffled his hair.

"You look like you had a good nights rest" i said

"Mmm, i feel like it to" he said

"Aww good" i said

"Thank god you were home today!" he said

"Yep. And now we can spend all day together" i said

"Yep" he said

"What should we do?" i asked

"Nothing?" he said as Cloud jumped onto him

"We can spend the day with Cloud!" i said picking her up

"Nahhh, how about we hangout with Rian and Avery?" he said, Avery has wednesdays off

"Sure!" i said and he went to call Rian

We picked them up later and we all went to see a movie, it was perfect because like nobody was there because its a week day. After the movie we went to get ice cream. We went to cold stone and got our ice cream and went outside to eat it.

"Its so weird just hanging out just the four of us" i said

"I know it really is!" Avery said

"I like it" Alex said

"Yeah" i said

"Its a lot more calmer without Jack" Rian said

"Definitely" i said

"Hey Rian, whats on your ice cream?" Alex asked

"Uhmm, cherry dip" Rian said

"Really i thought strawberry" Alex said

"Nope" Rian said

"Cool. Can i try it?" Alex asked

"Yeah just get a- aww man!" Rian said and got cut off as Alex bit his ice cream

"Yummy" Alex said

"Thats nasty" i said

"You love me for it" he said kissing my cheek

"Eww" i said wiping ice cream off me

"Are you gonna still eat that?" Avery asked

"Eh, yeah" Rian said shrugging and continued eating it

"Ewww" Avery said

"Its not that bad, im used to this kind of stuff from him" Rian said and Alex bit into Rians ice cream while he was eating it

"That makes you two look like a couple" i said

"Thats fine with me" Alex said

After we had ice cream we all went to the mall, again it wasnt even packed. Gotta love weekdays. Alex and Rian went their own way and me and Avery went our own way. We just walked around since we didnt need anything. Later we ended up in target, Avery was looking through her phone kinda nervously.

"Is everything alright?" i asked

"Mhmm" she said pushing the cart

"No its not, whats going on?" i asked

"Nothing" she said

"Tell me!" i said

"Im looking at my period tracker. Im like five days late" she said

"Really?!" i said

"Yep" she said

"Maybe your pregnant!" i said

"I dont no" she said

"Oh my god i hope so!, have you guys been trying?" i asked

"Well we havnt been trying. But we haven't been not trying" she said

"And if you are pregnant?" i asked

"Well then thats awesome!. I just hope Rians okay with it" she said

"He'll be ecstatic!. Come on lets get a pregnancy test and you can take it whenever you feel you need to" i said

"Alright" she said and we walked over to the medical isle

We got the test and kept shopping. After we left the mall we all went to get the twins from school and we went home. Alex and Rian were helping the twins with a project, who knows why kids that young even get projects. Me and Avery were talking about the pregnancy. Later while me and Avery were cooking i heard Alex start swearing, i looked over and Alex was looking at something in a bag.

"What the hell are you swearing about?" i said

"Yeah what- oh god" Rian said looking over his shoulder

"What?" i asked

"Explanation?" Alex said holding up the pregnancy test

"Oh" i said looking at Avery

"Maybe you two should go play" Rian said and the twins ran off to their room

"So ladies, wanna tell us whats going on?" Alex said

"Your holding a pregnancy test?" i said

"Come on lets be serious. Are you thinking your pregnant, i mean it would make sense if you were we had sex like three weeks ago" he said

"Alex i know for a fact im not pregnant. I just had my period" i said

"Well then-" he started and Avery cut him off

"Its mine Alex. Im late for my period by like five days" Avery said

"What?" Rian said

"Oh. Thank god!. I mean if we were expecting i'd be happy but i dont think we can handle another one now" Alex said relieved

"Thanks babe" i said sarcastic

"Mhm. Guess this is for you" Alex said handing Rian the pregnancy test

"Wait you think your pregnant?" Rian said to Avery

"Yep. Are you mad, i mean i dont know if i am. But if i am are you gonna be cool with it?" she asked

"Of course!. This is exciting!" he said

"Yeah" she said

"Go take it!" i said

"Fine" she said taking the test from Rian

Avery went and took the test, the anticipation was driving us crazy. After a few minutes she finally came out, she was looking down at the stick and she seemed to be deep in thought. She came over and looked at all of us smiling.

"Whats it say?!" i said

"Im pregnant" she said

"Really?!" i said

"Mhmm" she said

"Congratulations guys!" i said hugging her and Rian and Alex hugged them to

"Thanks" she said

"Yeah congrats" Alex said

"Thanks. I cant believe your pregnant" Rian said

"Yeah are you excited?" Avery asked him

"Of course!" he said hugging her

"Aww how sweet" i said
