Forever seems like Never

Once I got inside I just went and took a shower even though it was almost 12 now, luckily it was Friday and I had a bathroom connected to my room. When I got out I dried off a little and put on some basketball shorts and a kiss T shirt not caring about how my hair dried I just turned on my TV and got my laptop from under my bed

I looked at my phone. 3 unread texts I usually never get any

*Hey man, why is Ashley Hanging out with us again?* Jinxx

*I’m sorry, I still like you* Ash...

I answer Jinxx and Jake still not answering them and I just stare and Ashley’s text and eventually text back

*Goodnight love <3* after reading that I put down my phone on the charger and went to bed

I woke up to my mom “awwwww who’s Ashley?” She said holding my phone to see a text

*Morning <3* She couldn’t see any other ones because my phone was locked. She doesn’t
know I’m gay.

“No one mom” then she hurried away after giving me my phone

*morning* was all I responded then my mom came in with my dad

“He has a girlfriend!” Oh moms and exaggerating shit

“No mom, I don’t”

“Son, don’t deny it” my dad spoke up

“Oh my god go away I do not have a girlfriend” I will tell them about Ash being a guy when, well if we do get together

After a few minutes of that they finally left and I looked to see another text and to see it was
11 and band practice is at 12

*what are you up to today?*

*band practice* I respond before putting down my phone and making myself somewhat
presentable for the guys

*Yup, I started it still looking for a bass player though*

*Seriously?!? You think you can come over and we can hear you play and possibly put you in
the band*

*what time?* Just then I heard a knock

I run downstairs to open the door and Jake walks in

“Hey Jakeyy!” I run up to him hugging him “So I found us a possible bass player”

“Really? Who”

“Ashley, he is coming over now so we can hear him play”

“Andy, is that a good idea?”

“Jake, Ashley is a good guy and he never called me anything there was just other reason he
walked away but he’s back now and let’s just have fun”

“You’re lucky I can’t yell at you” He said laughing just then jinx and CC walked in then I
explained to them ashley playing bass and blah blah blah Then I heard the doorbell

“Ashley!” I say and hug him

“I see were back to saying hi how we used to”

“I’m sorry, do you want me to be boring?” I said laughing

“Not really”

“Come on, we are all in the basement getting set up”

We went into the basement and Ashley got all set up and stood there awkwardly as the rest of us sat down

“Well, play” I said with a smile and so he did and well he’s really good so we decided to put
him as the bass player, for now at least

-Le time lapse to the end of practice-

“Now, learn these songs” I handed Ashley a few papers of the notes for him to learn

“Homework on my first day? How rude” He said laughing

“Study up” I replied

-Le another time lapse to an hour later-

Now it’s just me and Ashley because he wanted to hang out

“I see you still like batman” He said as we waked into my room which is over filled with batman I admit

“Your point is?”

“No point” he said laughing

“Wanna play?” I said holding up an Xbox controller

“Bet?”

“Okay so when I win what do I get”

“I will take you wherever you want and pay for a whole day but when I win I get to kiss you” He said taking a controller and sitting next to me
