A History of Repitition

Chapter One

A solar flare. That's how it all started. No one knows how it happened, or why we are the way we are. In the beginning we didn't know what we had become. All we knew was that our physical bodies had changed a great deal. Those that were blind or had to wear glasses no longer needed them. Those that were deaf or hard of hearing could hear a pin drop 10,000 miles away. All these wonderful phenomenons made everyone excited. The only sad part was that all of the elderly people had turned to dust. We had also learned that by bringing people from the sunlight into the darkness brought them back and lively again. However we didn't really bother the people that were in the homes. We all just assumed that we were all the same. In a way super heroes. That was, until, Stephano said that his throat was burning and he didn't know what to do. Suddenly a harmless dear crossed his path and he pounced on top of it, draining its body of blood. Everyone that had witnessed that then realized that we weren't a form of super hero. We had become bloodthirsty monsters from all of the horror stories that we grew up hearing about.
