Bea cleared her throat and then said, "Lance has asked us to be go out with him. In other words, go on a date with him."

I looked at them with my eyebrows raised. I don't know if they were lying or not. I mean, you wouldn't do that. At least, I thought you wouldn't. I laughed but when I saw their faces, I stopped.

"Oh, is that so?"

Hannah softly said, "We don't want you to get hurt, Zoe."

I merely shrugged and chuckled, "Well, what's done is done, right? There's nothing I could do about it. It's not like I could go back time and prevent this from happening."

Gabby looked at me and meekly said, "Are you gonna be okay?"

I sighed and looked at them, "I honestly don't know."
