This is just one of those stories that I can't get out of my head, so I'm finally just going to write it. Love it, hate it, whatever.
But basically, Klaus has been defeated but not killed, and this is the peaceful time after it. Elena takes Damon and Stefan (who's back with Elena now) to see her brother Jeremy, and by extension, meet her cousin, Poppy, who's the original character. And onwards!
