Darkest Star

She breaks down when the news is told to her. Her heart feels like it's being crushed and her hope just drains out from her. Hands hold her up but she collapses to the floor. It was too soon; it shouldn't have happened now. She feels like everything is falling apart and she no longer has her light. Her one true thing has disappeared in a blink of an eye and she'll never get it back. Nothing will make it better. No words will heal her pain and time will remain constant but ignored.
