Dear Mr. President,

Dear Dante,

So you write fan-fiction. And it’s about books. That’s so cool! What kind of books? Ooh, now you’ve just got me curious. I knew there had to be something you’re passionate about like that.

Let’s see here…you’re really smart, especially when it comes to Language classes and Science classes. I bet you’re into SyFy; like the Hobbit and The Game of Thrones and things like that. They’ve got all kinds of different languages in them, so I bet that keeps you interested even past the plot. Oh my god, you learn the languages don’t you! Do you know Elvish? I’ve always wanted to learn Elvish. Oh god, this is so awesome! You’ve got to let me read some of your stuff! Please please please!

Oh please let me read some of it! I promise, it’ll be kept between us. I won’t tell anyone about it at all. That’s what you meant with the whole death wish thing, wasn’t it? You’re afraid I’ll tell people and everyone will make fun of you.

Dante, you have my word that I won’t tell anyone anything that we’ve talked about thus far and/or anything we’ll talk about in the future. I wouldn’t do that to you. Especially not after everything I’ve told you about my family. The only people that know all the details like that are you, George, and Kelsey, and they’ve been my best friends since that has happened. Everyone else just knows that my mom died when I was seven and then my dad remarried a few years later. I trusted you with all of that, just like you trusted me with your family things.

I’d like to think that we’re beginning to really trust each other here through all our letters. I know I trust you. Do you trust me yet?

Rae

The next letter is the one I had the absolute most fun on, but I won't ruin the surprise for anyone by talking about it.
Just know that I'm excited for it, so you should be too.
Especially if you're as nerdy as Dante and I are
