Love You, My Little Dreamer

How's your bum?

"Ladies and Gentleman, I would like to inform all of you that we will be landing in London Heathrow Airport momentarily," I heard a flight attendant say through the speakers, "Please buckle your seat belts and prepare for landing. Thank you"

I groaned loudly and put my blanket over my head, I hated being disturbed when I was sleeping. I slowly felt myself drift back to sleep when I felt someone interrupt me by lightly shake my shoulder. I peaked through my blanket and saw a flight attendant that I didn't recognize. "Miss I am going to have to ask you to sit up and buckle your seatbelt." She said sternly. I nodded, still half asleep, and dragged myself upwards. She stood there and watched me buckle my seat belt before leaving.

I felt my eyes getting droopy but I quickly rubbed them, in an attempt to keep myself awake. I focused my eyes at the view of the airport below, the bright lights lit up the London sky. I felt my pulse quicken as I realized where I was; I was no longer home. I was by myself in a foreign country and in a couple of hours I would meet a man that could significantly change my life. A smile lit up my face as I thought about the new adventure I was embarking in. Living my whole life in the same city had become repetitive and boring. I needed to experience how it felt like to be an independent woman.

I watched as the plane slowly landed and came to a complete stop. Passengers quickly jumped out of their seats, grabbed their bags, and rushed out of the aircraft. Each one looked more and more excited to be getting off, the long flight wore all of us out. I sat there calmly and waited for everyone to get off before grabbing my things and heading towards the exit. Just as I was about to head out, I felt my self-run straight into someone’s hard chest. I flew backwards, landing painfully on my butt. "Ouch!" I yelped as pain spread to my lower back.

"Oh, shit," I heard someone mutter. "I’m so sorry love," said a boy with a friendly British accent. I looked up and saw Louis Tomlinson crouching next to me, eyes filled with worry. "Fancy some help?" He asked, giving me a breath-taking smile as he put his hand out for me to grab.

I slipped my hand into his and I felt him easily lift me up from the ground. I quickly let go of his hand and I felt myself blush at our close contact. "You alright their? Your turning red love." he said, sounding a bit concerned. This only made me blush even harder, if it was even possible.

"No, I`m quite al-right" I said with a slight stutter.

"You fell pretty hard their, your bum alright?" he asked with a grin lighting up his face.

"Its a little numb but I’m sure it’ll be alright," I joked while giving my butt a little rub for effect.

He grinned at me, and I couldn't help but notice how adorable he looked when he did. His bright blue eyes looked very child like and playful when he smiled down at me. "I’m Louis," he said as he walked around me and reached up into a compartment, pulling out a small carry on. "Harry left this here, and seeing as I’m the man in the relationship, I had to come and get it." he joked playfully.

I cracked a small smile; there was something very cheeky about him. "I’m Madeline, but people call me Maddy." I said, smiling up at his tall frame. I was only 5’4 and I felt tiny standing next to him.

"Well it’s very nice to meet you Maddy," he said, the beautiful smile never leaving his lips. "What do you think, may I escort a beautiful lady out of the aircraft?" he asked while giving me a wink. I had to admit; I felt my heart swoon a bit when he called me beautiful.

"I would be honored Sir. Louis," I said with a terrible British accent. I interlocked arms with him and I let him lead me out of the airplane.

We spent a few minutes walking throughout the airport in silence before Louis decided to speak up. "Wait, aren't you that bird whose seat Zayn rudely took?" he questioned.

I thought about it for a second before answering, "Wait, aren't you in the famous boy band that’s going to be attacked my fan girls the instant they leave the airport?" I asked jokingly which caused a little smile to sneak up on his face.

"No, seriously" he said while giving me a playful shoulder nudge.

I sighed and answered. "Yep, I was the one who had to move."

"Well, I’m sorry for his rude behavior love," he said sounding sincere. "He’s actually a really good guy once you get to know him."

"I'm sure somewhere deep down he is," I said, trying my best to sound convincing but it didn't even sound right to my own ears. To be quite honest, I had totally forgotten about Zayn and the whole airplane incident. It was hard to think clearly when you had your arm interlocked with a charming British boy.

Louis didn't bother saying anything more about the incident; he could tell I was beginning to feel uncomfortable. "So you know anything about the band?" he asked a few seconds later, changing the subject.

I smiled at him; I knew he was itching to ask me if I knew who he was. "I've heard a few songs, which I thought were very catchy, and I know for a fact that you have some very.. lets say.. persistent fans."

He chuckled at that, "They definitely are persistent, but amazing non the less." he said. An adorable smile graced his lips as his thoughts went out to his fans.

When our conversation slowly faded, we walked towards baggage claim in silence. I didn't mind that no words were spoken; it was actually quite comfortable and peaceful. It was nice to be able to just walk in silence, without feeling like you had to start a conversation. Every once in a while I would catch him looking down at me and I would look up only to be met with his breathtaking smile.

As we walked, I looked ahead and spotted the rest of the boys, who were frantically looking for Louis. I quickly stopped and reluctantly pulled my arm away from his. "I think this is where we go our separate ways." I said with a shy smile.

"You sure you don't want to meet the boys?" He questioned as he glanced over to his frantic friends. If this were under any other circumstance, I would have gladly gone over there and let Louis introduce. But with everything that happened, I knew for a fact that the introduction would just end up being awkward and torturous for everyone involved.

"No thanks Louis, I’m really tired and I just want to get to the hotel as fast as I can. " I said, making up an excuse that was partially true.

"Suite yourself love," he said with a bright smile. "There all very handsome, could of gotten lucky with one of them." He said while giving me a wink, which made me blush like a mad man.

"Maybe I'll see you around London then," he said sounding hopefully. I just nodded, and gave him my best smile. I watched him quickly lean down and place a gentle kiss on my cheek and walk away, back to his boys. "Bye beautiful!" he shouted, while giving me a little wave. I managed to wave back, as I stood their frozen in place. My hand went to where he had kissed me and I could feel my face burning up. Smooth Maddy. Smooth.

I somehow managed to break out of my trance and make my way towards luggage claim. I stood there in a daze, as I waited for my luggage to make its way around the conveyor belt. When my plain black luggage finally appeared, I reached forward to grab it only to find that I wasn't strong enough to pull it out. I let out a giant huff as I ran around in circles trying to pull my luggage out, each time failing more miserably than the last.

I reached my hand forward, in another attempt to pull it out, but someone beat me to it. I watched as someone behind me reached over and easily pulled the luggage off of the conveyor belt. The stranger was pressed up against my back, and I could feel his cool breath in my ear. I took a deep breath and inhaled his intoxicating scent. That’s when it hit me. The stranger smelt of smoke and cologne. It couldn't be.

I turned around and found myself face to face with Zayn. I felt my legs turn to jelly the instant our eyes met. We were so close that I could feel his cool breath on my face. "I saw you having a hard time pulling out your luggage, and I thought I could help." He said nervously while scratching the back of his neck.

I stood there for a moment, taking in his words. I grabbed my suitcase and muttered a quick "Thank you”; leaving him standing there by himself. I couldn't stay there any longer, the feeling that I got back in the airplane was slowly making its way back to my stomach. I didn't like it. I didn't dare look back at his face as I exited the airport, I didn't want to see the hurt that graced his features.
