Three Cheers

"Let me be dramatic."

We had successfully moved into our new house without anymore hassle. We only lived in it for about a month before Gerard had to leave on tour. Busy threw her biggest tantrum yet; it surprised and scared me.

I hadn't seen her so sad before. She had gone into Thora's room and locked the door. Thora had been in there napping.

"B, open the door," I knocked on the door while kneeling, "Please?"

"No!" she screamed, "Make daddy stay!"

Thora started to cry then; Gerard and I each knocked on the door; "Biz, I'm leaving in a few days." he tried to coax her, "Please come out, Thora is cryin'."

"No! Stay!"

And then Happy came over and started yapping. I pressed my head against the door, "Busy, please, mama has a headache." I muttered.

"No!" she screamed louder; I think she had hurt herself because she started to cry.

"Goddammit." I muttered; "Busy, open the door, now!"

Busy didn't answer me, she and Thora were crying at the top of their lungs. My head was killing me, "Kick the door in." I said to Gerard.

"No way!" he gave me a look as if I were crazy.

"That's the only way we're getting in there." I stood up, and rubbed my temples, "Happy, shut up!"

Gerard snickered, "Calm down, October, we'll just wait it out."

"Wait it out?!" I gave that crazy look back at him, "Are you insane?! Our kids are in there crying their heads off!"

"One will tire out soon, and the other will follow suit."

I rubbed my forehead, "Gerard, that's crazy, I won't wait anything out. What if Busy is hurt?"

"She would've opened the door." he reasoned, "Right now, just let them cry."

"What if she falls asleep?"

"She won't."

I shook my head, "She will, and then we'll have to wait until she gets up!"

"Let's just sit here until they tire out."

Gerard took my hand and made me sit on the door against the door. I shut my eyes as Busy and Thora both continued to cry. I have no clue how long they cried, but it wasn't too long before they both quieted down. Gerard smiled, "See?"

I knocked on the door, "B?"

She didn't answer. I groaned, "She's asleep, I know it."

I got up and went to the kitchen to get a screw driver. I found one in the drawer and hurried back; Gerard was knocking again, "Biz?"

"Move, I'm gonna take the doorknob off."

He stood back and I knelt again, unscrewing the screws in the knob. It took about 5 minutes before I was able to push the door open. I set the screwdriver on the floor and went in; "Busy?" I didn't see her initially.

I went over to the crib and saw she was under a blanket inside and Thora was lying beside her, asleep. I picked Thora up, and pulled the blanket back; Busy was asleep, curled up. Gerard picked her up, earning a small groan from her.

"You scared mama, you know." he murmured to her.

Busy didn't answer him, she stayed curled up. Even in her sleep she had a pout.

"God, she looks more like you every day."

Gerard just laughed, "Ain't it great?"

I rolled my eyes, "She is, she's even got your attitude."

"That's all her." he muttered.

I just shook my head and headed off to the living room. I was sure they would wake up soon.

"Whatre we gonna do about B?" Gerard asked; he set her on the couch beside him.

"What can we do?"

"Well, I don't know... I hate to leave if she's gonna act out like that."

"She'll get over it," I sighed, "But she'll probably runaway and hide somewhere in the house to get away from me."

"Are you going to be able to watch her?"

I nodded, "Yeah, Gee, of course."

"Are you sure?"

I raised my brow, "Are you questioning my mothering skills?"

He chuckled, "No, I'm just asking."

"I'm only dreading the cries and the barks."

Gerard mocked a pout, "I'm sorry."

"No you aren't." I smirked at him.

He leaned over and kissed me, "I am sorry," again he pouted, "I'm already sad about leaving."

I messed up his already messy hair, "Me too."

•••

Busy had apologize about locking the door when she woke up, but she didn't apologize about throwing a fit. I didn't expect her to. Her next tantrum came when Gerard actually left.

She latched onto him and cried; Thora actually laughed. She had clapped her hands at Busy holding onto Gerard and sobbing. When we managed to get her off, she ran off to our bedroom and slammed the door behind her.

Gerard could only give me a regretful look; I waved him off, gave him a kiss and watched him go. Thora had slobbered on his cheek as a goodbye kiss before he had gone. I closed the door and didn't go get Busy; I knew she needed some time to cool off.

Later on, Fran arrived with chocolate cake, having looked as of she had, had a fit like Busy; "What's wrong?" I asked her as she made her way in.

"I miss Frankie." she sniffled.

"You wanna go nap under my bed with Biz?"

Fran laughed, "Is that where she is?"

"Yeah." she and I went into the living room, "What's the cake for?"

"To drown my sadness," she muttered, "Life is shit without Frank."

I laughed softly, "I'm sorry."

She handed me a plastic fork, "No more talk, eat."

I chuckled, shaking my head, "Are you going to be okay?"

"I'm sure, but not today. Let me pretend I will die without my love for a few hours."

"You'll live," I teased her.

"I know," she frowned as she poked the cake, "Let me be dramatic."

"Fine." I smirked.

Fran and I ate the cake; I fed a bit to Thora who was strolling around in her walker. A few minutes later, I heard Busy open the bedroom door; I nudged Fran and she and I sat still until Busy came walking in. Her dark hair was a mess and she was rubbing her face, "Cake?"

"Hey, B," Fran smiled at her, "Where were you?"

Busy frowned and dropped her hand, "In mama's room. Mad."

"Well, mad little girls can't have cake." I told her.

Busy pouted, "I'm not mad no more."

"But you just said you were."

She shook her head, "No! No more, mama!"

"And, B, you didn't give daddy a kiss goodbye."

"'Cause he leave me!" she sat on the couch.

Fran cooed, "Aw, Franke left me and I cried too!" she beckoned Busy over to her, "You may have cake, B!"

I shook my head, "Just great, Frances."

Busy rushed over and plopped between me and Fran, "Thank you, Auntie Franny."

"You're welcome, B." Fran looked at me as Busy took her fork and began to attack the cake, "She's hurtin' too, October."

I let Busy have her cake, but not too much. She and Fran both began to say how much they loved and hated Gerard and Frank for leaving them. You'd think they were teenage girls; it was odd; but I was glad Busy wasn't mad anymore. I was happy she was with Fran and not expressing her anger. Me and Thora are the same; even if my baby can't talk yet, she and I are alike and simple.

The tears and chocolate cake didn't last too long. The long tour ended three whole tiring months later and Gerard and Frank came home. They actually came home during the night hours, and luckily Fran was staying over; Frank was able to stay and see her.

As soon as Gerard came through the door, I grabbed him and hugged him. I never show it, but his absences always took a lot out of me. I always, always missed the hell out of Gerard when I lay in bed alone; even when my baby Busy is sleeping in his spot.

"Hey," he chuckled, and dropped his bag and hugged me back, "Someone besides Busy missed me."

I smiled, and kissed his cheek, "I always miss you, babe."

He pulled back slightly and kissed me, "The girls are asleep?"

"Yeah," I nodded, "Is Frank--"

I stopped when I saw Fran rushing out the door and jumping on Frank. I laughed and let go of Gerard, "Never mind."

"How have you been?" he asked as he picked up his bag again.

"I'm still good, I started going to the gym too; my mom offered to watch the girls while I went."

"You're working out?"

"Yeah, I told you." I said with a shrug.

"I just thought you were walking."

I was going to answer but Fran came in, "I'm going with Frank, I'll see you, October."

I waved, "Okay, bye."

She shut the door in a hurry; I turned back to Gerard, "What's wrong with me working out?"

"Nothing, I just don't want you to hurt yourself."

I laughed, "Don't worry, I don't lift weight, Gee."

He kissed my lips, "Good."

We made it to the bedroom where he dropped his bag and began to take his clothes off; "I'm gonna take a shower, and then go to bed, okay?"

I bit at my lip, "Care if I join?"

His eyes widened, "I don't mind at all, October."

I followed his lead and removed my clothing and then followed into the bathroom. He turned on the shower; as soon as it was warm, he took my hand and led me in. We both dipped under the water, wetting our skin, and then he wrapped his arms around my waist; "I missed you, Sugar."

I brought my lips to his jaw, "I missed you too," I showered kisses against his jaw and neck, "God, you just don't know, Gee."

He rubbed my backside, nearly pushing me up against the adjacent wall, "Want me to show you how bad I missed you?" he asked with a soft chuckle.

"Yes please." I giggled back.

He easily picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He kissed me, held me up and let out a soft groan, "Ready?"

I nodded, "Yeah."

Gerard gazed my reaction as he entered me slowly and nipped at my lips as soon as he filled me. I let out a soft moan, running my wet hands up his back and into his shaggy wet hair. My stomach twisted with arousal and my emotions were overrun by need. Gerard began to slowly thrust, and kiss me attentively, with his hands squeezing my bottom. I pulled at his hair, groaning against his mouth and arching my back. I felt my orgasm bubble all too quickly in the pit of my stomach.

Gerard began to pick up his pace and groaned, tilting his head back. I attached my lips against his neck,  nipping my teeth against his soaked skin. My nails scrapped against his scalp as my need was fed, my orgasm was coming.

"Gee, I'm gonna--" I sputtered.

He moaned, "I know, I know." he muttered.

My body pressed against his as my orgasm washed over me. I wrapped my arms around his neck, feeling his thrust pick up faster, sloppier. He bowed his head against my shoulder and pulled out of me, he came against my stomach, with a loud groan. I let my legs down and moved my hand to his dick, to finish him off. His teeth sunk gently into my shoulder and his hips bucked against my hand.

"October," he moaned, "That feels so good."

I kissed his face repeatedly as his hips slowed to a stop, "You feel better?"

He nodded, "Fuck yeah."

"Let's wash up," I rubbed his back, "I'm kinda tired."

"Yeah."

Gerard and I washed each other off and then got out, wrapping up in towels and dressing in loose clothing. We slipped into bed, almost immediately fell asleep in each others' arms.
